I was told about the pie fight scene in Dr. Strangelove. But there were no pics to support this, therefore didn’t happen. I’m not believing that about DOTD. God damn it, someone had to mention bout the doco of Full Metal Jacket. Now I’m going to spend the rest of my days hungry to track it down.
There were photos in the article I linked to, and you can easily find more by googling it. Vivian Kubrick’s FMJ doc was never finished. A few minutes have been used in other things about Stanley, but unless you plan on breaking into the SK archives, the rest of the footage is not yet available to view. Steal The Shining footage for me while you’re there, if you plan on doing so. 😉

Would be nice if backers who ponied up enough get free Netflix accounts, similar to the classic episode downloads they already earned. (Which includes two of the “lost” KTMA episodes, thanks to Joel!) Seems like a physical release of the new season is still far away. Spoilers will abound long before that.

Okeday Blu_ray I do remembere that from DOTD now you did that, but even the Extended Mall Hours cut (at 155 mins) is still missing a load of the early part of the movie.

Arkham Asylum and Arkham City may change your perspective. It’s as close to the Batman you (probably) like as you’ll get in the modern age. And if video games aren’t your thing Assault On Arkham is a pretty solid animated film and probably leagues better than Suicide Squad. I’ll never really know because I refuse to watch anything from the DCEU.

Yesterday I was standing in a long line of people and noticed a girl was reading the novelization of A Dogs Purpose. I think the ad’s for that are unintentionally hilarious and can’t believe the movie was even made. That there’s also a novelization and somebody is choosing to read it leaves me boggled.
JEDIT: Looks like the movie was based on the book. All I said still stands though.

I’m definitely missing some essential piece to the human puzzle. I see how people react to things and I am often bewildered by why people react so strongly to a lot of things. I have become very adept at feining these emotions but fuck if I feel these things say for a few instances (mostly things involving my mother and sister). Even something like true hapiness has eluded me since I was 9. I’m not really saying this as a point of pride for I am indifferent to my deficiency. Sometimes I feel dread and other times I feel numb towards it. But I’ve grown tired of feeling numb as well as the disconnect I feel.
