It was from a new area of the world, but socks can be tricky.
And I think it was taking it outside of OT that really got him.

If you look at some of the things the “parody experiment” posted it seems rather clear that it was meant to mock, nothing more, and I don’t believe it was a banned user considering the references it made in it’s postings.

If the pattern of behavior didn’t remind you of our last super troublemaker, I don’t know what else to tell you. It could have been a lot worse had we not put extra safeguards in place to prevent the kind of floods we had last time.
And any suggestion that it wasn’t a real troll is kind of insulting the to staff of this site.

I don’t know why it should be insulting. There were many references to things said by myself and Frink during our disagreements. That does not seem like something a random troll would do or one that had a specific beef with someone here or the site itself. The timing alone is quite coincidental. If you can explain those specific references better than I can I welcome it. I am still human though some may believe otherwise.

Yeah, that anime thread was too on-the-nose. I figured Jay or Wook would have access to his IP and would be able to tell, but if they IP banned him last time he’s likely using a VPN so there’s no way to tell.

Maybe if they said something that had only ever been said in private, that would be suspect. I believe we’re dealing with someone who’s all too familiar with the forum, and sowing more seeds of discord between the two of you would suit their purposes. Making things worse around here benefits no one, except a troll.

Frink and I don’t ever converse in pm. Though I also did mention somewhere that there was a message in all the postings and you seem to have gotten the same one I did. Sadly though, I predict it will fall on dear ears here, for the most part.
