Was probably some custom thing then that didn’t get properly preserved.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

The Lion King is better because it’s not a crappy anime.

I don’t think the term anime even existed when I was seven years old. It was just a cool cartoon about a lion to me.

And wow, does this ever take me back a long way. I don’t think I’ve heard this song since 1975!

I’m getting a little annoyed at all Japanese animation being lumped into the same rusty boat routine around here.

Where were you in '77?

I’m finding myself listening to music that I would have hated only months ago.

I’m usually into EDM and Synthwave, but as of a couple months ago I started getting into 60’s era rock. That phase passed, and now I’m listening to more aggressive rock, like Marilyn Manson and System of a Down.

Nice. Always neat to try new things.

For most of his stuff, I feel “meh” rather than “ugh.”

If your into the Marolyn Manson vibe, alice Cooper is a much better choice. If his 70s stuff isn’t aggressive enough for you try Brutal Planet and newer.

That’s a comparison I’ve never understood. They both do the make-up theatrical goth thing, but their sound and feel are totally different.
(I prefer Cooper, but Mansons got a few good tunes)

I guess it’s a better comparison than all the crap that gets suggested to me via the Smiths though…

Answer this honestly: do you think Manson would exist if Alice Cooper never came along?

Sure, Alice didn’t invent these things even if he’s the one who first popularized it.
But, I’m sure Manson wouldn’t be what he is without Cooper, he’s very vocal about the influence.
I just don’t think there’s enough similarities in the music to make a hard line comparison. Just because one likes Cooper doesn’t at all mean they’d like Manson and vice versa.

In moviebob/Gameoverthinker’s last video on the whole Zendaya being Mary Jane thing he called Donald Trump “Agent Orange” and I laughed so hard I woke my sister up from her nap. And no I didn’t just laugh because of Sodom having an album by that name.

Exactly. I love every dyed black hair on Cooper’s head, whilst I don’t even want to look at a photo of Manson.

There’s not very many styles of music alice hasn’t dabbled in either. Classic rock, showtune, disco, pop, country, even heavy metal.

Jump scares suck. They’re the most unimaginative and cheap scares ever. They can hardly even be called scares, they’re just surprises.

But they have their place. You’re right, it’s a surprise, not a scare, but when used right, they can get your heart pumpin’ and that can get your fear/excitement levels rising. It’s over used and misused, for sure, but I love a well made seat jumper.

Just watched some Toddlers and Tiaras, I regret it deeply. I think it’s creepy that beauty pageants even exist for children.
