Good morning everybody, it's April 16th! So.. in my continuing IE browser adventures... the page buttons (next, previous, you know...) at the bottom of the page don't work for me currently. I tried closing and opening a new browser... no dice.
I guess I'll just wait for this one to blow over like my "double back" problem...
EDIT: It seems that whatever is causing this is also causing my post to be dated 3 days ago. I.E. April 13th, not today, which is April 16th. Right after Frink changed his sig. Weird!

The 'page change' function is still definately messed up for some reason. I noticed it a few days ago too.
For instance, I still can't go backwards (or forwards) on adywan's ESB:Revisited thread whenever I get to the bottom of a page, and have to scroll back up to the top to do it, as the function is still okay there.
Strange thing is, it seems this is the case on other topics too, yet some others are unaffected.
It seems totally random to me when I load the page. You're right, though... it does seem to work at the top of the page all of the time.

I don't think this is an issue with pagination. I bet if you guys tried a browser other than IE, these issues would magically go away.
The problem is that whenever someone copies and pastes their posts from Word, it introduces a bunch of garbage that, ironically, Microsoft's own browser can't deal with, and it breaks everything that follows that post on the page. In fact, I doubt you're simply missing pagination. I bet if you count the number of posts on the page, it's often less than the "posts per page" setting in your control panel.
This is a long-standing issue and something I've tried to filter out with varying levels of success. Still working on it.

So it looks like this issue is related to the signature update problem and also probably this issue.
Frink's sig is cut off after 1000 characters, despite the profile edit page saying the limit is 3000. After the HTML code for the three links has been inserted, the closing gets truncated.
Firefox accounts for the code error and renders as intended, however MSIE 8 chokes.

Funny, when I edit my sig, sometimes I get the MSIE 8.0 result at first (in Firefox). Then I play around with it a little, usually deleting some extra characters, and suddenly it works.
In this case Han put a "xD" at the end of his quote, and once I deleted that bit, it looked correct in Firefox.
