Interesting.
Interesting.
Interesting.
Could you elaborate on that?
“Interesting.”
WYSHS
Pitt?
Wonder Woman - didn’t like it at all. 😦
It’s the most over hyped movie of the year in my opinion. Besides some good chemistry between her and Pitt, and one cool scene of her storming the battlefield, I found it to be really uninspiring and lackluster. I find ralphthemoviemaker does a great breakdown of where the movie fails.
I liked how she yelled at the generals for their sexism and their coward behavior if you compare them to medieval generals, but I guess that was about it. Other than that, I found it to be pretty dull.

Pitt?
Jesus Christ am I stupid. I have no idea how I confused Chris Pine with Brad Pitt.

Ralphthemoviemaker also thought It Comes At Night was like the second best movie of 2017. I mean, that movie’s fine and all, but… really?
It ain’t like I agree with him always. I just found his Wonder Woman review to elaborate how I felt on that movie well. And he also is just a great youtube reviewer in my opinion. Justifies his opinion very well and is pretty funny at times.
I must add that it was very predictable.
I must add that it was very predictable.
Not to mention the awful BvS level bad of an ending which absolutely destroyed any sort of theme or message it had and was just a cgi mess.

Yeah, I know, I’m just giving you a hard time… for some reason. I think he’s okay, but “great youtube reviewer” is a pretty low bar 😛

Wonder Woman did the impressive thing of being a typical superhero movie that didn’t feel stale. Marvel recently has had to mess with the genre to seem fresh, but I like that Jenkins was able to breathe some life into it while playing it straight.

Your absolutely right on Youtube haha. The overall quality is atrocious and I only subscribe to a few channels.
I must add that it was very predictable.

Yeah, that was my only serious issue with it, but it’s a pretty glaring issue.
Interesting.
Could you elaborate on that?
Yes but I’m not going to.

Must agree that it was a cgi mess. Dare I say that for 2017, the CGI was worse than AotC for 2002.

I agree with both of these posts. It was so good until the last 20 or so minutes.

I tend to agree, although I don’t really think the end ruined it to the extent people say. It was more or less just a disappointing way to round out an otherwise really solid film.
Interesting.

Yes but I’m not going to.
Am I sexist or do you not want to talk about the reasons you liked it?
My apologies if I’m looking into it too much but oh well.
I haven’t seen it.
I haven’t seen it.
Alright, my bad. The exchange with yhwx seemed like there was something else.
I still am under no obligation to like it.
You’re also under no obligation to steal Ric Olie’s thunder, and yet here you are.
If art is subjective, and I already said my opinion of the film was subjective, why then do you guys feel obligated to contradict me or say my preferences are in bad taste? Apparently having to defend my position is not a Captain Obvious move if people are telling me my initial reasoning is flawed.
But you gave nonsense reasons as to why you didn’t like it. Saying the movie is bad because you don’t know the name of a character for 20-something minutes is absurd.
They’re not nonsense to me, and you don’t have to agree, but I feel the reaction to my talking about it, (eg. saying my opinion is nonsense or absurd) is stronger in tone than is warranted. Maybe I did too easily take offense, I’ll admit that. But I don’t feel blame falls solely on my own shoulders.
chyron just put a big Ric pic in your sig and be done with it.
How to Train Your Dragon and How to Train Your Dragon 2 back to back.
At the top of the list for my favorite 3D animated films

First, I did initially just only say I hated it. And from my perspective, it’s absurd that I can’t give my own personal reasons why I subjectively didn’t like it and not be told that my reasons are absurd. I wasn’t expecting it to be bad. I wasn’t grasping at straws to hate it. I just remember walking out of the theatre after it was over and ticking off the things I didn’t like about it, and the reasons I gave now were those things. They’re not nonsense to me, and you don’t have to agree, but I feel the reaction to my talking about it, (eg. saying my opinion is nonsense or absurd) is stronger in tone than is warranted.
In other words, you tell me that I could just say “It’s not for me” and leave it at that; but conversely when I give my opinion, you could just say you don’t agree and also leave it at that. So maybe I did too easily take offense, I’ll admit that. But I don’t feel blame falls solely on my own shoulders.
Took me a while to realize you aren’t talking about wonder woman…
