No, shop there if you want. It’s just that I don’t shop there for reasons confidential.

Semi-confidential then.
ABCs of Death (2012) – 3/10
ABCs of Death 2 (2014) – 7/10
Flipping through my Netflix queue this morning looking for something to watch while waiting for the DVD of The Conjuring to show up, I came across the first of these. Watched the first five (through E) and I’ll admit it’s not that great so far, but I wouldn’t go so low as a 3/10.
I just looked up “F” and it’s for “fart” so that doesn’t encourage me, however.
Believe me, the movie gets progressively uglier and nastier as it goes along.
Well that’s just great. I don’t know if I should believe you or not, based on many of your previous ratings and reviews, so…
Damn you!

Then you sharing this fact is completely pointless. You get this is why people call your posts annoying, right?
The things he gets can’t fit in a MAC without a hard drive.

You’re right.
Sin City 3/10
Ugh, I’d rather watch Spy Kids. I know it’s based on Frank Miller’s comic but as a film it doesn’t work at all for me.
I think it’s better than a 3, but that stupid story with the killer whores really does bring the movie down.

If my opinion means anything to you, don’t watch it. 2/10, a horrible horrible horrible “movie”.
Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.
Alright, I won’t waste more of my time…what about Part 2? Duracell gave it a 7/10.

The only part that I liked was the opening scene, after that it was all stylistic plotless bullshit.

Inside Llewyn Davis 7.5/10
Really well done and has some very funny moments but sadly becomes a sadder and sadder movie rather than the typical rags to riches storyline.
Looper 8/10
Just ignore time travelling paradoxes and have a good time!
Batman: The Killing Joke 5/10
Skip the first 27 minutes and you have a decent show. It still doesn’t capture some of the greater moments in the comics though.

Why would I ever bother with #2? I hate myself but not that much.

I hate you so I’ll watch it.
Kewl, let me know how many balls out of 8.4 you give it.

Sing Street

Such a good time watching this flick. Really hit me in the feels along with some good tunes. It was just very real to me and captured some serious raw emotion between the two brothers.
If anyone else has seen this what are your thoughts?

I really want to see that, but no theaters near me are playing it.
Not enough people read the EU.
Scream (1996)
Brilliant concept, and great execution. The acting was all pretty good, I thought Skeet Ulrich was the clear standout. The characters were fun and likable. I liked the meta humour, which had me laughing at many points (though I did think they went overboard at times by just listing films), and the unconventional slasher movie plot was great. It was a little too silly at times, and some parts felt dated, but I loved it nonetheless.

Hell or High Water (2016)
Great movie, check it out if you get a chance.
My problems with Into Darkness all center around the unbelievably poor writing. Abrams has a long history of employing bad writers and then overcoming that with style over substance. To him, as long as it feels right, it doesn’t matter if it makes sense. The writers don’t have even a basic grasp of science. Back in the first film, a single star goes supernova and that literally threatens THE ENTIRE GALAXY.
Look at the introduction of interplanetary transporters. It’s incredibly stupid and something that’s far too advanced for even that period of time. Just transporting something between two planets in the same system would be miraculous but to do that between planets that are in completely separate quadrants of the galaxy? Virtually impossible. Not to mention the rippling effects that would have on galactic civilization as a whole. Who needs starships when you can beam to wherever you need to go even if its on the other side of the galaxy.
Then you have Khan’s miracle blood that can bring people back from the dead. Solely introduced just so they can ripoff WoK and then immediately bring the character back to life afterward. Completely undermines the scene and is unfathomably cheap. Then the miracle cure for death is immediately swept under the rug and will never be brought up again.
I won’t even get into the idiocy of Benedict as Kahn. It was a crap script for a crap movie.

Me neither but it’s now avaible on Blu Ray, DVD and Digital 😃 I highly recommend it.
BEN HUR
I haven’t seen the 50’s version. I went in with no expectations.
I thought it was well done. There were some historical inaccuracies (I’m guessing they were in the original 19th century novel) and it seemed a little rushed in places (again I’m guessing to cover the many things in the novel.) Performances were great and all other aspects were fine.

It seems a little miraculous that such a remake would be greenlighted. Why another one?
Oh well, we gained an important message about forgiveness in these troublous times. With ‘The Big Glitch’ and ‘The Great Culling’ and all, we need to be reminded.
We all need to remember that, as children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters are raped to death, our hearts must ENTIRELY be set upon rapturously loving the murderous hordes. If we don’t, an angel cries. If, while the latter day Romans and their auxillaries tear apart family and neighbors in the most agonizing ways, we fail to forgive with all our hearts and love the Roman Satanists more than anyone else, Catholic Jesus has a sad. IF YOU DARE, for one moment, try to remember that they could have, knowing this was coming, stockpiled everything necessary to protect the entire population for a tiny fraction of annual gov’t budgets, instead of praying with all your soul that the psychopathic Luciferians who set us all up will receive salvation and heaven, Catholic God will think YOU are a TOTAL DICK.
No, It is those hateful Christians who cry “How long, Lord?” who deserve to watch it all happen to their loved ones. Catholic God will cast THEM into Hell.

Yep, can’t wait to get the ignore feature back.
