This is the first time I’ve listened to more than two or three of her songs. Too damn long a wait, I can tell you.
Favourite song: “Jerusalem”
Least favourite song: “Just Call Me Joe”
★★★★★★★★☆☆
Finally had a chance to listen to the whole album, having only previously heard the hit single “What Do All the People Know?” And holy cow, it’s fantastic! Shame it’s been out of print for more than 30 years. They deserve more fame.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

I love this album so much I can even appreciate bits from the shitty remix album.
Aforementioned remix album. It’s not great, and we really didn’t need three remixes of Starfuckers, INC in the one album. But as I said, there are bits to enjoy.
Not enough people read the EU.
Not sure if should put this here or in Youtube Finds:

chyron just put a big Ric pic in your sig and be done with it.
I would say here, and looks interesting.
Rammstein - Rammstein
What a solid debut. Terrible album cover, though. While not as artistically impressive as later Rammstein albums, they give you all the ingredients you come to expect from them from the get go. It doesn’t have the symphonic quality of an album like Reise, Reise or the polish of Mutter, but it still finds a way to be operatic at times. Maybe not in sound, but thematically. The lyrics can be very disturbing at times, and comical. I think tongue is firmly planted in cheek with Lindemann’s words.
There’s a lot of tasty synth work in this album. Sounds ripped right from the game Doom at various points. Without the guitars, this is a respectful Deutsche club album.
The guitars are not something to drool over, as far as shredding and complex chord work, but they are so fitting for the material. Another impressive element is the bass guitar work. Ollie is allowed to shine in the mix, which is rare for anything metallic.
"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Just discovered this band. I love synthwave music, especially synthwave incorporating electric guitar, so I’m probably gonna become a fan.
Favourite track: “Graveyard Shift”
Least favourite track: “Andromeda”
★★★★★★★★★☆
Favourite track: “Forever Dilating Eye”
Least favourite track: “1966 – Let the New Age of Enlightenment Begin”

Eminem’s Kamikaze is pretty great and resparkled my interest in him, so i’ve been relistening to his discography and it’s been a blast. The Marshall Mathers LP and Encore are my favorites.
I haven’t actually relistened to it, this is just a shameless plug:

Van Morrison - Astral Weeks 5/5
Van Morrison - Moondance 4.5/5
Anyone else here a big Morrison fan? He has quickly become one of my favorites.
Dahmage has been my brown eyed girl from day one, so you could say so.

Aww shucks
First listen. I’ve been missing out!
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
Henry Mancini - A Warm Shade of Ivory
Mancini is one of the greats, if you like that sort of thing.
I always used to get Henry Mancini and Harry Manfredini confused. That’s slightly amusing, I suppose.
Discovered this band only this past week. Am already a fan.
^Good stuff.

Classic! I used to DJ a bit at an industrial/goth club and “This Corrosion” was my smoke-break song… because it’s like over 7 minutes long or something like that. Good memories.

Yes,
I’ve had Eponymous (compilation of their pre-Warner stuff)
and have listened to New Adventures in Hi-Fi, Automatic for the People, and Monster since hearing Out of Time
I like them all. New Adventures is great too
