I might as well rate the OBI strip too if I’m gonna cast a vote on the disc art, LOL. The interior booklet has a japanese lyric sheet plus great photos and info about the album. There were also stickers … 😉

I really love that album cover. It looks like it was made, videotaped and then a picture was taken of the tv screen while the videotape played. I also love the fonts, colors, positioning, poses, expressions, movement, logos and landscape.

I disagree. The weathered look just makes it look worse to me. I don’t really like the font either. The logos only make it worse. I think the environment, poses, and positioning are good though.

I think after relistening to this that it’s a rather underrated album. It’s still probably my least favorite of their’s though.

I love how neurotic and pessimistic all of John’s songs are on that record. Too many covers for it to be a top-tier Beatles album, but the originals are some of the most interesting stuff in the entire catalog.
