It's a plot hole that a space station the size of a small moon could create a laser beam so powerful that it could destroy a planet and send its pieces flying at such tremendous speeds as to not only overcome the gravity of that planet, but in fact zoom away from that planet at such speeds.

The lasers even paused as they joined together at different times, firing outwardly only when all were caught up.  I hope you'll fix this whole mess.  It's not realistic at all.  In fact, I hope you will show Alderaan blowing apart over the course of a few days, as is more realistic.

Also there is no sound in space.  I hope you will remove all sound effects.

But should you choose to keep them, please at least make a realistic lapse between sight and sound.  Remember, sound travels much slower.  Again, looking at Alderaan, since we were thousands of miles away when it exploded, we shouldn't have heard anything for hours and hours.  Can't you straighten these issues out, please?

Although I like the idea of a very realistic Star Wars practically every other Sci-Fi film uses sound in space. Coming into the movie the viewer typically knows this and doesn't mind it. I wouldn't consider the sounds in space something to correct but rather a well loved part of Star Wars and something that would detract from rather than enhance or correct the film. I do like the idea of slowing down the Alderaan destruction. Maybe not to a day but I have found longer fan made sequences online which would fit much better than an instant explosion.

The needle on the torture droid Vader uses on Leia always seemed mundane for a space movie, to me. What about adding some sparks coming out of the top, and replacing the needle with something like a flamethrower?

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

How about flames shooting out of the needle?

Darth Vader speaks while breathing.  This must be addressed.

And while you are willing to keep the sound in space, you didn't address the delay of the speed of sound.  Will you address this?

While you're at it replace the entire soundtrack with Britney Spears to provide a more captivating atmosphere.

"Star Wars: Redone" makes it sound like the movies are finished forever. Since they're making more, I'd suggest calling your project "Star Wars: Redid."

To clear up any confusion, this project incorporates the prequels, original trilogy, and movies 2015 and beyond.

These "plot holes" are not really problematic at all... they are just nitpicky and the scenes still make perfect sense already, but hey, this is your edit

The films are fine on their own. I'm trying to make a version with every small that bugs me about them removed.

I think "Star Wars Refried" would be more apt.

You should have asked the OP when this would be done.

Ah.  Well, I was just trying to get you to post the "I don't care" image again.

Most people that bump their project threads have an update to share...

Updated with the prequel section and several changes throughout. Major update was deciding to include the prequels which some people may or may not like.

You want to dictate how I post, eh?  You think you get to decide when I do and don't put up certain images, hmmm?  Well, this is what I think of your intent!
