…and finally REVENGE OF THE SITH which looks pretty good with grain and some desaturation:

…and as a bonus… I’m not actually sure if this is a step in the right direction. All I know is that the skintones in THE FORCE AWAKENS are too saturated and have too many red values.

Here is my corrected opening of A NEW HOPE. I believe the highlights and shadows have been adjust correctly. However, I did remove most of the green bias in the film, which is fairly prevalent in the theatrical grading. It should be noted I’m not going for theatrical accuracy, rather, closer to the '97 SE.

Yeah JawsTDS I agree with you, Episode 4. it’s probably the slowest moving of the first three, and the one with the least story. The First 3 episodes were really good, and at that time after watching those episodes I became a huge fan of Starwars series and couldn’t stop myself to such a new star wars genre. Since one of my friends is a huge fan of playing strategies based games, which he use to buy from online stores like https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/, PC CD keys etc…

These bots are getting really good. I almost believe that it’s just someone who’s particularly clueless about this forum.

You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

Bots aside, I think I’ve reached a good middle ground with my latest correct. My biggest concern is making up for the low black-levels on the Blu-ray masters. I hope I haven’t left them too dark… or too bright!

The yellows are a bit green, and the skin tones seem a bit desaturated, though that’s more a matter of personal preference.

That may be due to the slight hue shift I applied – will try and amend that to see if it helps. Thanks for your input.

Question for anyone who takes a look at these – do the whites seem clipped or blacks crushed? I wasn’t sure how far to boost the shadow / highlight curves – clearly the Blu-ray was too dark, so I tried my damnedest to correct it without blowing the picture out.
