The Norsk BD of "Dawn of the Dead" (2004) arrived today, and I just checked the Scene with the topless woman, and.. long story short: It is uncensored!

The Norsk release (Finland, Norway, Dansk and Sweden) got an other Master than the censored universal master!

I will post some caps for quality check here soonm, and a BD Info scan.

Does anyone has the US BD of Dawn of the Dead 2004 for bitrate check?

Do you have an order link? and will they ship to the US, also is it region B or free?

Thanks a lot Mr Brown

I ordered here .. maybe they send to USA.

I don't know if region free or B. Amazon.co.uk says Region 2, my AnyDVD sys region not locked, but with region codes on BDs I am very careful, because anyDVD sometimes can't identify it.

Here are some caps:

Thanks again Mr Brown, you are a great help.

Any news on an Uncut Scream yet?

Sadly none. I think StudioCanal just gave up on that.

Does anyone happen to have Basic Instinct on DVD from Germany, Holland, Portugal, Scandinavia, Spain and the UK?

There is a featurette on it that's 6:29 and I'm working on a project. It's not on the R1 version.

Anyone have the American Pie DVD or blu-ray from Germany by Constantin?
I was looking for:
Interviews (10 mins)
"A Look Behind the Scenes" featurette (6 mins)

Author
Time

Sorry, I have neither the american pie, nor the basic instinct BD's.

But I will look out next time I am in a videothek, maybe I could rent them both.

I actually already got Basic Instinct from a friend but if you could look for American Pie, I'd greatly appreciate it! :)

Btw...both are DVD's (but American Pie is on Blu as well).

Which American Pie? The first?

I'll try to get to the videothek coming week...

Sorry, the videothek only had the old VCL DVD without that 6 minutes Featurette. Not even the BD. But I'll keep my eyes open.

Should not be impossible to get it somehow.

Ahh...thank you for trying!
As far as I know, they're only on the Constantin releases.

So, Germany got the unrated Version of the new "Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning", while US only got the R-Rated Version. But you have to look for the "uncut" Version, not the cutted FSK 18 Version.

I have the UK Region 2 "VCI" release; it's a "flipper" disc with a 4:3 version one side 1 and a 16:9 version on side 2. I think there are some interviews on side 1, but I don't know if they are the 8 listed above.

Moth3r,

Thanks so much for responding!! You should have a PM. I'd appreciate anyone's help with this! :)

Checked the disc. The interviews are contained in a 5-minute featurette, the disc also contains cast text biographies in the form of still images.

I don't think either of these extras appear on the later 3-disc Special Edition release, the VCI release is now out of print but you should be able to get it easily on eBay UK (the cover looks like this).

Thanks for the help! I just picked up the 3 disc for $5 shipped from the UK. I wonder if that featurette is the same as the Scandinavian disc entitled "Production."

UK got an "extended" BluRay release of Hammers 1958 Dracula with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee with two restored Scenes.

It contains the 2007 bfi restoration and the 2012 Hammer restoration on BD and DVD now presented in 1.66:1 (first time in its OAR).

Also a new audio commentary with Marcus Hearn and Jonathan Rigby.

Also some new documentaries on the censore history of the film and its restoration.

The Disc is stated to be Region B locked.

If someone is interessted, I'll do some screencaps and a BD Infos Scan.

Inferno seems not to be sold out, you just won't find it on amazon.de due to the fact that it is Indiziert. I still see a german shop (ofdb.de) selling it for € 29,98.

And dtm.at sells it for 21.99 €.

Both prices don'T include shipping.

The German shop seems not selling international, but I think someone from the blu-ray.com forum bought something at dtm.at.

Which Reservoir Dogs BD has the best AV quality? The US release has MPEG-2 encoding unfortunately. I know the French has AVC, the German has VC-1, and the Japanese has AVC. Now, I can't get the JPN, but between the French and the German, which is superior? The French is rumored to have some DNR.
