Or in essence the base of the hill, with the shield antenna being up on top of a hill (doesn't necessarily have to be a mountain, just higher up away from the rest of the forest).
I also really love the idea of the entire forest being set on fire from the fire fight between the Imps and the Ewok/Rebels. Maybe the Ewoks could have homemade explosives or chemically volatile rocks that they use as arrowheads and grenades to help even the odds (could also better explain how they can pierce the stormtrooper armor - though I am aware of history and what the English longbowman did to heavily armored French knigits. Let's just say it didn't end well for the French)?

Would it be cool if the "neck" of the antenna broke under the explosion and the "head" or the dish would break off and fall to the ground?

I was thinkin about something like that to be honest, always liked the idea of the shield generator being deactivated, not blown up! Even a small explosion would be gd, maybe the dish could have lights that switch off or a faint laser that represents the shield shuttin down or something along those lines.
Ok. Concept here.
What if place the camera from antenna's POV and show the shuttle leaves at morning and then we cut to heroe's POV that sees the shuttle leaving. playing with POVs can make the mood more dramatic and the pacing more unique.

It makes scence to be introduced to the antenna early before it gets knocked out.
Although with the mountin mist an lighting it looks a bit more Naboo (picture perfect) then Endor (the forest 'gump' moon).
Very, very nice indeed, Angel! Is there any way to reduce the "glow" slightly? Loving the shield dish.

i suggest shrinking down the hole down to his size

i'd like to see the admiral and officer moved far from the bridge so it looks like vader came from the bridge rather that the station being smack dab in the middle of thw walkway

What is going on with Boba's Death?
Mabey have Luke slice his head off like Mace Windu did to Jango. It would be a much more epic death and it really wouldn't be that hard to pull off.
Or you could have him live and fight in the final space battle. Make a scene of him flying off from Jabba's Palace. I don't know how you would kill him off though. Probably the Falcon.
It would be easy to do this.
Ghost, that's a nice idea, and it would be relatively easy to cut Boba Fett's death and have him fight in the final battle. But I think it's totally out of character for him. Risking his life to fight for the Empire really isn't something a man like him would do.
unless he was payed a ridiculous amount of money.... or he was out to get revenge for his "father's" death

If he wanted revenge, that battle is hardly the smartest place to go about getting it.
And why would the Empire pay a lot of money for one extra ship?
Boba Fett would never fight in that battle, as much as I'd love to see Slave 1 blasting the shit out of things.
I dont even want to go into these stupid discussions, but
Boba would be motivated mainly by money/bounty (possibly payed by Jabba once he seen Solo was delivered to him then killed with his own eyes. So he needed to hang around for his bounty on Solo).
But if he'd heard of someone throwing about a lightsabre and calling himself a Jedi Knight, maybe feelings would dig a little bit deeper than money, as all Jedi were supposed to be wiped out. Boba then had an alternitive agenda to his mission, if he knew the Jedi Knight was in the post, as so to speak.
NOW IM talking all nerdy aswell. Sheesh Kebabee!
Boba is supposed to be there....(reasons unknown). Leave him be.

hey guys, just wondering if anyone has taken a look at this site, it has people submitting the ROTJ movie mistakes. Maybe we could have a look at all these all see whats true wots false and see what we can do, maybe 005 u could add these to the list too.

I just go by the assumption that that is the first place to look. "Fixing mistakes" is kind of an obvious wish list entry. I just add the more rare ones (not flipped shots) or ones corrected by our elite team of mock-up artists.
Angel, that shield generator shot is incredible. I think if shots like that aren't used in Revisited or other edits, you should at least let them be used as DVD menu screens.

Edit: Widescreen version only: when Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) dies, the chin part of his helmet is missing in the last shot.

In terms of dialogue removal........I'd love to see Han's cut a bit in the briefing room.
At one point he shouts out "Good luck!"
then....
"You're gonna need it!"......the line delivery on "you're gonna need it" always sounded incredibly corn-ball as hell to me. More importantly, I feel like his lame outburst undercuts the life & death seriousness of the moment. But if it were cut I don't know that leaving the "good luck" still in there would seem odd?
There's so much of THAT type of off dialogue in ROTJ unfortunately.
Is it possible for someone to cut the line and throw up a quick vid to see how it plays? It'd be appreciated.

I would like to see the video also. Maybe a whole cut to be a bit more serious. I was hoping specifically to make it seem like its a suicide mission that Lando takes knowing he's going to die. But that's just me. ;-)
