'97 ANH & ESB SE will be done today.

Thank GOD now that is 3 movies finished of the 7 I am working on.

as you said, it is done, I am not going to replace every red scene, or now make reivax the base, it is what it is now, and like I said in the GOUT v3 thread, not trying to be a smart ass, but if you guys are not happy with it there are other projects doing this same set, either wait for theirs or make your own, I feel like I am putting to much time in this '97 set as it is, especially sync'ing the LD DD 5.1 track.

I was going to start on Jedi now but maybe I will just wait a while.

DJ, you take things too personally! ;-) We all want this to be the best it can possibly be, that's all.  Anytime someone mentions a potential flaw, they're not bringing it up to say that you're doing a bad job; they're bringing it up because they know that you want your project(s) to be your final word on the GOUT or the 1997 SE, and they want that final word to be as close to the best as it can be.  They're not personal attacks by any means.

If you're feeling stressed about it, take a break for a week or so, and come back to it with fresh, level-headed eyes.  Overworking yourself never helped anyone! ;-)

And always, always remember - your work is greatly appreciated, by all of us!  Soon enough, my DVD cases for all 3 films will be full of your GOUT V3 and '97 SE DVDs, and it certainly seems that nothing less than an official Lucasfilm restoration will change that.

I already said I was sorry to msycamore and I told him why this is getting very frustrating, but I will give you the jist of it, I WANT to finish these and be done, it is a character flaw in me big time and I freely admit it, I have no patience, some things I am waiting on, to me, I can't see what the hold up is, but this mainly pertains to the GOUT v3 set, msycamore and I are already looking into this and if there is anything that can be done, it might get done, but if not, it stays the way it is.

Now I want to go ahead and say this, I appreciate all the help from people contributing to these sets, but I have a full time job, I have kids, I have a house to take care of, and all the other stuff to being an adult and I am buzzing right along(also did a side project with ABC) LOL I guess I just wish everyone else was to is all, but I now have everything on my external in regards to the GOUT v3 set, I hate to do that because then when the files I need do appear at some point, hopefully I will remember what is what.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother redoing them at this stage.  The ANH Jabba scene looks just fine.

I have compared these two versions again and I now actually thinks Reivax looks almost better when you fiddle a little with the contrast/sharpness but I can also understand if you're not going to bother with it.

I have compared Reivax, Flunk, TB & Gkar and I still think the Flunk looks better to me, better for base, but this has bits from all LOL.

Downloading it now.  I'll be watching it in ~15 minutes!

Looks pretty damn great to me!  I didn't notice any issues with the subs, they looked like they belonged and were easy to read.  And frankly, when it comes to the SE's subs, that's all I really care about.

So is this a keeper then? do we keep subs as is or will it be something you can adjust fairly easily msycamore?

At least this way I do not have to f**k with the audio again.
