The whole reason I brought up political confusion (again, I want to keep political discussion a minimum as per the rules) is because I’ve been using politics as a way to cope with anxiety and POSSIBLY depression or at least something very similar to it (I don’t know for sure, a lot of my symptoms are similar to depression but I haven’t been properly diagnosed, so I don’t know for sure and will not outright say I have depression unless proven so. The very sad reality is that my symptoms must be treated very slowly and carefully, unfortunately, I have been proven mostly negative for medication due to the possibility of unwanted negative side effects) and now I’ve turned into a delusional conspirator on the edge of a mental breakdown that constantly flip flops between the left, right, centre, and especially the far right and far left, ad nauseam.
I want to take a break from the internet but ended up with horrible withdrawal symptoms and extreme loneliness (and yes I am actively looking for more real life friends my age).
I am serious, the treatment is EXTREMELY slow and VERY painful, and my family seriously ponders whether or not they should take the risk and give me medication)
So no, I have not ignored any advice on this thread (I have honestly acted out on what SparkySwyer told me to do, with varying success), it’s just that you likely don’t have the full picture of my plight since I choose to keep many things private for my own cyber safety, and as such I do not blame any of you at all for any potential misunderstanding.
IMPORTANT NOTE: My symptoms have recently gotten worse due to the treatment having the “it gets worse before it gets better” principle, and I honestly haven’t felt this rotten since 2020. Unfortunately many things about this are out of my control.

Going back to the sex stuff, I got a positive diagnosis for autism spectrum disorder level 2 in June, which finally explains why I also have such a hard time finding a romantic relationship, let alone having sex. Of course, I’m interested in trying it out because it’s great for stimming, even though there’s the risk of sensory overload due to my mind being the way it is.
I can’t speak for everyone for obvious reasons. Even though I have a strong attraction to women with colored hair (pink, purple, blue, etc.) for some reason, I don’t like the idea of loveless sex of the kind Spartacus described either. I think the correct terminology for people like this is demisexual, although I’m not 100 percent on that.
I have altered Lucas’ visions. Pray I don’t alter them any further.
I hate 2023, being the worst year I’ve ever had since 2020.
I hate having such a rare mental condition that takes so agonisingly slow to cure.
I hate being told that I can fix it just by socialising more and going outside away from the internet.
I hate my psuedo-depression.
I hate being misunderstood by people as well as my family.
I hate being blame for things I cannot control adequately.
I hate feeling ungrateful by reading the stories of people who have it much worse than me.
I hate the fact I’m able to act so normal yet feel so awful inside.
I hate hating myself every day and having to slowly wait for my treatment to take true positive effect.

I miss the times when people on the opposite sides of the spectrum would actually listen to the other side’s opinion and try to find a middle-ground. The culture in the USA today is literally like Anakin said: “If you’re not with me… then you’re my enemy!”
It’s sad that opinions need to be hid or people aren’t willing to talk to someone else over something like political ideology. My closest friend just happens to be on the opposite side of my beliefs, and it has been one of the purest and great friendships I have ever had. We challenge each other’s opinions, which in most cases, leads us both to having a better understanding of a political issue and then we try to figure out what could potentially be something that could make both sides happy, or at least accepting of the outcome.
I wish more people would think like us. It is so frustrating being around so many close-minded people.

Just kidding. You shouldn’t choose a political ideology just to have one. Political ideologies are just sets of ideas, assumptions and strategies, for organizing society. You can’t really test which one is best in a lab, and none of them are “right”, except insofar as some probably lead to better outcomes than others under certain conditions. Except of course, for capitalism. That one sucks at all times under all conditions. (Again just kidding. Sort of.)

I felt perfectly tired and ready to recoup some of my sleep (I felt severely under-rested today) or at least not be any more tired by going to bed just in time for a good 8 hours and of course the minute I get in bed I can’t sleep and now I’m wide awake. I think it’s because I got stressed over something momentarily when I initially laid in bed and that woke my brain up. It’s incredibly frustrating cuz I was tired and going to bed perfectly on schedule and now it’s all off. Guess I won’t be making my train tomorrow.
Speaking of which, let’s talk about that stupid train. I hate it so much. The schedule is such garbage that, were I following my train schedule instead of sleeping in, tomorrow I would be arriving at 9:15 and leaving at 3:10…only to attend a 45 minute weekly conference from 11:45 to 12:30. It’s hell. Well, actually it’s fine because I find value in the time spent downtown instead of cooped in my home, but the point is it should be a choice. The freight train companies who force the commuter line to follow such an erratic and frankly insane schedule should be taken out back in their freight yards and shot like the dogs they are.
As soon as the temperature drops below 5 degrees the train goes “let’s blow hot air at you continuously, that definitely won’t be thoroughly unpleasant”. They finally turned on the heating for the season so now I’m stuck with it all winter.
Whoever decided the tunnel leading to the the terminus should have speakers that alternate two songs on repeat endlessly should have a nap on the tracks. They aren’t even good songs. One’s a generic sports chant and the other’s a shitty early 10s style EDM remix of We Will Rock You. Actually, I think they play the normal version too so that’s three songs. Yippee.
And nothing puts fear into my heart quite like the ticket inspectors. They show up maybe once a month or so, usually the one day you fuck something and don’t have a valid pass on you. Happened to me a lot at first, but now I’ve got my act together so I can usually avoid it, but it’s still terrifying, as the fines increase every time and I haven’t heard of them dropping in recognition of years of presenting valid passes to compensate for initial mishaps.
God I hate this stupid fucking train. Thank god the REM’s coming.

Welp, I just gotta banned from my university’s Game Dev Discord. They claim I was given multiple warnings but won’t actually post me them and never kept a visible tally for me so I have no clue what they’re talking about. Afaic this came out of nowhere.
Guys help me, I can’t take it anymore. I’m so sick of always getting banned from everywhere without trying. How do you avoid getting banned from Discord servers by accident?
I couldn’t sleep again so I had to sleep in and miss my train. Of course once I’m ready to go it’s 5 'til the bus leaves and it takes 20 minutes to get there and there’s no other bus for 40 minutes after that so the end result of this is that I’m gonna miss 2/3 of my classes on literally the last day of class. I can’t even just skip and stay home because I didn’t plan ahead enough to have my photos of downtown done for the essay I need to write so I have go anyway. Oh and the bridge is closed except for one lane so my commute there might end up longer than my single class.
Well, now I’ve missed that bus too. I guess I’m not going.
I am so sick of my brother treating my lack of work ethic like it’s a choice. The only choice I’m making is between letting myself not have a mental breakdown and staring at a blank page for an hour until I do. I’m not saying I shouldn’t work or that there’s no room for improvement it’s incredibly insulting to act like all I have to do is snap my fingers and suddenly I can work harder. My brain doesn’t work that way.
