Thanks to rape culture, the sexual assault of women is as common as ear piercings. We’re really not that much different than Saudi Arabia or Pakistan in this respect.

HBO sucks. Every one of their shows is required to show degrading female nudity and/or rape several times an episode. I’m so glad I never got into Game of Thrones. This is what happens when a network goes overboard with lack of censorship.

Rape culture still exists; sexual assault is 97% percent legal in this country, and blame never falls on the rapist/molester. Three out of four women living today has been or will be raped at least once in their lifetime.

Rape is a thing that has was an frequent occurrence when the world was akin to Westeros; it would be unrealistic not to have rape periodically in it.

His films always point to inherently abusive power relationships that still hurt women and children today. Dylan Farrow’s victimization is the direct result of this worldview and as a public we should have seen this coming. His films deserve to be erased from history. According to RAINN 97% of sexual assailants never spend any time in prison. Less than a third of all sex crimes are even reported, let alone go to trial.
