I HATE that Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man ends with a Nickleback song over the end credits. Especially when they could have used the Ramones wonderful cover of the original theme song! THAT would have been GREAT!
That would’ve been great. Sadly, a lot of movies go for the out of place pop number.

I saw the trailer in front of Civil War last night. Sometimes I wonder if my sense of humor is shit, but there were laughs in the theater while the entire movie just looked like a pile of garbage to me. Ugh.
Besides, Angry Birds isn’t even cool anymore. Maybe a few years ago this movie would be a good plan, but right now?

Has the influx of new assholes kinda petered out yet?
I haven’t been here long by any means, but I’ve noticed that things started getting frustrating once people started joining purely to “debate” TFA.
The Person in Question
It has petered out to an extent. The most vocal newbies haven’t been on lately, or publicly announced their departure. It’s just the usual peanut gallery being annoying recently. We probably won’t see another influx of newbies until Rogue One is out.
Where were you in '77?
I think it should be noted that a lot of the newbies actually have been friendly enough, maybe a little strange, but there’s just a vocal few that were reminiscent of a Youtube comment section to say the least. I still kind of consider myself a newbie!

Sometimes I wonder if we don’t hurt our message a bit by being so hostile to PT/SE lovers. I know I was a big SE apologist for a long time before I realized I was objectively wrong, but it did take some time and convincing.

As long as they aren’t obsessed with a non-descript “true vision” that should prevent the existence of the unaltered films, I’m fine with them. I will say that I don’t see why they would want to frequent this forum instead of TFN.

I wish this whole business of throwing imperialscum under the bus had never started. I still am really annoyed by the guys conceit and arrogance, and wish he didn’t post here, but it makes it hard to place Darth ID in the wrong for insulting people. Granted there are differences as we insult imp out of irritation at his attitude and arrogance and Darth dd does it seemingly just for the fun of bothering people, it makes it objectively a cloudy area to condemn him.

People come in here knowing the name and gist of the site, and they should expect a reaction if they start a fuss. I’ve made the analogy before of going into a sports bar where there is Green Bay Packers memorabilia all over the walls, and blurting out “Packers suck!”.
Nobody here hangs out at a pro SE/PT forum and tries to convert people, at least I hope not.

Yeah, the people that think there should only be one version of the film available, (the one they prefer of course) baffle me. This doesn’t happen with Blade Runner fans.
