Most jobs come from networking these days so I recommend volunteering for peer befriending or something like that. There is training where you will meet new people, you are giving your time for something you have some interest and experience in (repetitive 9to5 drudge isn’t good for mental wellbeing) and you add new skills and references to your resume. You are still around after experiencing the emotions that got this conversation rolling. Helping someone else keep to even that level of functioning is a rewarding experience.
It certainly has helped me not be trapped in the house with a shouty drunk person to come home and think I helped someone today. Shouty drunk person you are wrong. I have some value to society 😛
These are exactly the sorts of attitudes employers like to see.
Take a look at what skills you do have (writing, digital tech experience etc) and see who needs it.
Also think of what you’d like to be paid for doing and see if someone needs it done for free.
The best customer feedback comes from people who need something and someone gives it to them.

Warb, I have no idea if the poor kid is still alive physically but the nurse told me that there wasn’t much in the way of corrective therapy. His brain was damaged by the overdose. Physical therapy and surgery might have been able to stop some of his actions but in terms of the self it was just gone enough be beyond function but not still there enough to be restore

sorry to hear that. Very tragic.

It was truly horrific for me as a casual observer so heavens knows what his poor mother had to go through. It was her prescribed medication he used.

it must have been awful for the poor woman. I know at least one thing will always prevent me from committing suicide: what it would do to my family, especially my mom.

A couple hours ago, my sister baked a batch of chocolate muffins. I ate one, but unbeknownst to me, she had throw pot into the mix (thus explaining the revolting taste).

Now I feel dizzy-- extremely, existentially-horrific dizzy – with tighteness in my skull and with a dry mouth.

Drink some beer and stop being a pussy.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

why in hell didn’t she warn you?

The tightness in your skull is probably just nerves fromexperiencing something New. As long As it is indeed just pot, you will be fine. A tiny amount of alcohol might help with the nerves.

Complaining about eating a pot muffin? Really?
Though, I guess if it tasted awful, that’s reason to complain.
You’re sister must be a terrible cook. When I make 'em, they’re delicious!

edit- maybe she used crappy ditch weed. That would explain the awful taste and dizziness as opposed to a tasty high.

Not feeling well, try smoking some medical cannabis. 😃

Sorry man, I just like Tron. It actually wasn’t a gif first because it wouldn’t resize properly, you can blame Tobar for getting it to work for me 😉

I have been stuck in standstill traffic for several hours now. This never happens. Worst traffic jam I’ve ever been in.

This sucks.

I learned to avoid most on-line religious debates a long time ago. Sometimes you get respectful dialogues between the different parties, but most of the time it’s just a bunch of uncouth jackasses tossing insults and strawman arguments back-and-forth.

Well, fucking special. I just went and Googled a whole bunch of stuff about various legal entanglements and lawsuits related to the issue, read a whole bunch of stuff about a lot arguments, and now the buzzing anxiety has returned. Fuck. I feel like a junkie who’s relapsed. God, what’s wrong with me.

Just came back from a holiday in a state where drinking the tap water is generally considered against, so I barely drank anything over the last four days, now my lips are killing me.
