I understand, but bear in mind that that sort of thing happens to everyone on occasion. Maybe the make and model didn't help: I've never liked Remingtons and prefer the BaByliss 7647U because it's very easy to use.
Start with a high setting and reduce it one notch at a time until you are happy with the length. Repeat this process for the area under the nose, which usually requires a separate setting. Write down the settings for next time.
You'll get the hand of it. Just make sure that the silver arrow on the comb-guard's dial is lined up with the groove/marker above the dial before you begin to adjust the setting; otherwise, the numbers will not correspond with the intended lengths.

I'm trying to download a certain torrent. ATM the torrent has only two peers: One with about 15% and another with 100%. For whatever reason I can't download from the peer with 100%. I wish I knew why...

I don't know if anyone has talked about Bill Cosby, but I can't believe he fooled millions of people for decades as a beloved father figure. All along he was a cold-blooded psychopathic rapist who openly admitted to drugging women with quaaludes for sex. It's horrifying that there are so many victims coming out of the woodwork, going back fifty years. I used to like watching reruns of The Cosby Show and the old Jello commercials, but who wants to go back to them now?

I hate when that happens. Torrents can be great and completely unreliable about 50/50.

I'll always enjoy episodes of The Cosby Show as well as his old stand-up material, no matter what he did.
There are tons of people whose work I adore and whose lives I abhor.
I understand those who can't separate the art from the artist, but in my mind ones public work and private life are totally separate things.

I agree. His stand up is still good. I've moved on from tame stuff, but it still makes me laugh. Cosby ain't no Pryor.
I still enjoy the Beatles' music, even if Lennon was a bit of a prick.

I learned long ago to dissociate the art from the artists. If I didn't, there'd a long list of movies, TV shows, novels, short stories, comics, etc. I wouldn't be able to enjoy 'cause one person or another involved with them is an reprehensible asshole.
Case in point: this guy.

TV Shows and movies are different, they aren't the works of a sole artist. Dismissing a whole TV show because of one actor is one thing. Dismissing a stand up comic is different because it's only him. I count the Cosby Show as a single artist because he was the most involved and most of the jokes were from his stand up routine.
