The Nintendo switch is going to fail, really hard.

You’re wrong.

No I’m not. From what I read about the specs the switch can’t even hold a candle to consoles released ten years ago. Even if it weren’t about the graphics, Nintendo has only 2-3 major IPs (Mario, Zelda, Pokémon) that are just updated versions of games we played 20 years ago. They are now decades behind the times in terms of online gaming, and I’m not sure how the switch is even that different from the Wii U (other than it uses cartridges instead of discs). This is easily going to flop and bankrupt Nintendo within two years.

Online gaming never appealed to me, I don’t know why it’s such a big deal.

Back in high school, before I had a car, I used to love it because me and my friends could pretty much hang out everyday via Xbox live parties.

I’ve only played online intermittently since then (well I haven’t played much video games in general), and usually it’s split screen COD or Halo or something when me and a buddy want tougher opponents than the CPs.

Have you not heard about how hard they’re trying to get good 3rd party support? That’s going to make a huge fucking difference.

In two weeks frevious will read a positive article about the switch and love it.

They’ve been saying that for every console generation since the Wii came out. Third party support will fall through because you can’t make an xbox one/ps4 quality game on nintendo consoles because they’re two generations behind on the technology; their focus since the Wii came out has been gimmicks such as motion controls or handheld/console hybrids. Nintendo has been under the delusion that Mario and Zelda will keep them financially afloat forever, and both franchises haven’t really changed since the early 90s. In reality they haven’t made a good console in ten years, and the company refuses to admit they’re failing to adapt to the times.

Why can’t you just wait until it comes out to call it failure? This is why all of your posts are so embarrassing; it’s because you try to call things disasters before they happen and you’re wrong 100% of the time.

You’re right about that. Super Mario Galaxy is basically the same thing as Super Mario World, and Breath of the Wild is looking to be basically just a port of Link to the Past.

Hahaha

Regardless, Skyward Sword is literally unplayable because of Nintendo’s focus on gimmicks over gameplay.

Yet it got perfect scores at the time just because it was a Zelda title.

If it were literally unplayable then it wouldn’t be playable. Another reason why no one takes you seriously is because you use the word literally when it doesn’t apply.

I’d say it’s more about his extreme hyperbole. I know a ton of people who use “literally” incorrectly.

Pretty sure the Switch is going to do fine/better than fine. Nintendo isn’t going anywhere. They were on shaky ground for awhile, sure, but I think they’re relearning the post-Microsoft/Sony console market.

As a die-hard PC guy, the Switch is the first console I’ve been actively interested in since the hype for the Xbox 360 (which I didn’t buy) and the first Nintendo console I’ve been actively interested in since the hype for the Gamecube (didn’t get that, either).

JEDIT: I love online gaming because I have a lot of friends who I’ve known for more than half my life now in different countries/states that I love gaming with but can’t just invite over. Also I enjoy competitive play online in games like Battlefield.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

Yes, a literal ton of people. It’s actually just five big guys.

I really should learn to finish one screenplay before starting on another. I know I’m no good at juggling.
