Yeah, that’s the mindset I had. The latter part that is. I wanted to focus on changing things that aren’t beyond our abilities to change and wouldn’t disregard a widely known aspect of Canon in doing so. You can change a film’s title for edits all you like, but in conversation it will be forever known by its official title. Same with things like lightsaber color.
TPM: Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are combined into one character: Obi-Wan. OR (and?) make Anakin a young adult and the person whom he’s emotionally attached to is Uncle Owen, for a believable arc.
AotC: Have more Dooku background exposition.
RotS: Luke & Leia aren’t siblings.*
SW: Nothing.
ESB: Have Yoda not say anything about the other.*
RotJ: No DSII - instead, have the action that originally happens there be set in the imperial capital like it’d been planned, and the Endor part of the mission is the gang infiltrating the planet in a spy-like mission to disable some shields and whatnot and blow stuff from the inside-out. No sibling stuff.*
TFA: No SKB - have the film be about the search for Luke, in a race-against-time like fashion.
TLJ: Not sure.
TPM - No potty humour.
AOTC - Include the scenes at Padme’s parent’s house and have it written in ROTS that it would be too dangerous to leave Leia on Naboo with them.
ROTS - Include the deleted scenes of Padme and the Rebel Alliance. She deserves more.
ANH - The lightsaber fight.
TESB - No siblings kissing. Find another way to make Han jealous.
ROTJ - Have Boba survive on screen and track down the heroes on Endor. A final confrontation between Han and Boba to enter the shield generator would’ve been amazing.
TFA - I guess no Starkiller Base superweapon.
TLJ - Cut out the ‘Godspeed Rebels’ or at least find another way to wish the Resistance well, ‘Bastard’, Luke’s wonky walk after tossing the lightsaber, and the your momma humour.

Star Wars: Tarkin escapes and plays part in the following 2 films. Only because I love Peter Cushing and would love to see more of Tarkin. I actually love his smug demise in the film as it is.

Jedi: Ewoks are shown to be smart, resourceful and when they need to be, absolutely vicious. And not in a cartoony/silly way. They play a much smaller role in the ground battle and are used mostly as distraction while the Rebel soldiers take out the Empire’s troops.
