It is very hard to find some of these files, and that is even if they were capped,so I am asking if anyone here has seen any of these HD files or has them,I would prefer the untouched raw .ts files for obvious reasons LOL.

Here is what I have been trying to find for a while now:

Halloween IV: The Return Of Michael Myers
Halloween V: The Revenge Of Michael Myers
Halloween VI: The Curse Of Michael Myers
Lord Of Illusions
Pumpkinhead
Pumpkinhead 2: Blood Wings

Thanks for any and all help

I think you can get Jeepers off of HBO, ive seen it play on there before

As for the others, I might know someone who has some of them

I've been hoping for The Boogens, but it doesn't seem like anyone ever recorded it...

Would love to have that in HD!

I've seen a HDTV version of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD doing the rounds. Not sure of the source (it'd already been converted to 720p mkv) but it looked like the original broadcast had been a standard definition upconversion to me. I gave it a miss.

Damn now this would have been a cool movie to have in HD,but if you gave it a pass,I am sure I would have to.

Well if it helps, copies of the remastered version from the IFC channel are floating around. However my gripe with this (and probably the widescreen version off monstersHD) was that it appears to be over-matted

below is a comparison of how the matting (so most can have the film 16x9) is a little too much and seems to destroy the overall composition. In fact my full frame vhs (original tape) appears to have much better clarity. At any rate the pic is below

PS: I do not care if it is matted , but if anyone has the MonstersHD edition for Octaman, please get in touch.

I'm afraid I don't. Its since disappeared from where I found it but after doing some close comparisons, I'm 100% certain it was an SD upconversion of the MGM transfer (only open-matte).

Believe me, I couldn't have been more disappointed.

How's the quality? Does it look like an SD upconversion? Could you possibly post a screenshot (or two)?

It looks OK,but it is a 720p version,damn I was hoping for 1080p LOL.
I would like to do some more comparison to the retail DVD though to see if it is even worth doing anything with.

But Jeepers Creepers is 1080p and it looks sweet.

Well, if its only 720P, you could put it out as a single layer project perhaps? Assuming, of course, that it is a noticeable improvement over the DVD (please, I'm begging you for just one screenshot!).

If you do decide to put it out, there's a custom DVD floating around with multiple soundtrack options that undo the audio tweaks that were made to the MGM versions. You might wanna pinch a track or two from that one.

yes I know about that custom DVD,it was at CG,and the thing I did not like about it was there was NO menu to pic which sound option you wanted or which is which for that matter,I will see about screens.
