Well played, sir!
What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.
I like how the entire last page is a debate about a gif.
You don’t really like it.

I guess that settles it.
I sit corrected.
GOOD BOY
CowboyNeal.
Googling that was of no help.
I aim to baffle.
It’s a Slashdot reference. A million idiots would race there to post a message on a new item that said “First post”. When Slashdot ran polls, they would usually have a nonsense answer in the poll called “CowboyNeal”, which would usually win.
A likely reference to Neal Cassady AKA Cowboy Neal AKA Dean Moriarity in Jack Kerouac’s “On The Road” and Cody in “Visions of Cody”. Ginsberg was to call “N.C” the secret hero of his poem “Howl”.
While skippin’ through the lily fields,
I came across an empty space.
It trembled and exploded; left a bus stop in its place.
The bus came by and I got on; that’s when it all began.
There was Cowboy Neal at the wheel of the bus to
never-never land.
"Cassady is revved up like they’ve never see him before, with his shirt off, a straw version of a cowboy hat on his head, bouncing up and down on the driver’s seat, shifting gears - doubledy-clutch, doubledy-clutch, blamming on the steering wheel and the gearshift box, rapping over the microphone rigged up by his seat like a manic tour guide, describing every car going by. -Tom Wolfe “The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test”
“Obviously the ‘purpose’ of the trip is carefully selected to symbolize the basic fact of purposelessness. Neal is, of course, the very soul of the voyage into pure, abstract meaningless motion. He is The Mover, compulsive, dedicated, ready to sacrifice family, friends, even his very car itself to the necessity of moving from one place to another.”
-William Burroughs to Allen Ginsberg on Neal and his skeptical views of the man and voyage which spurred On The Road
A likely reference to Neal Cassady AKA Cowboy Neal AKA Dean Moriarity in Jack Kerouac’s “On The Road”
Yikes, I will never make a CowboyNeal reference again.
lol

So I know that these kinds of specilaized questions must get really tedious but what is the proper way to create a AVCHD file from the MKV. I used the muxer and I have a BDMV file but it’s 13 gigs, so how do I get it to fit on a dual layer disc. Also I cannot download the avchd file outright because I have horrendous internet where I am at the moment.
Why didn’t you just download the AVCHD instead of the MKV in the first place? But, to answer the question, I think that you have to use a different program such as Handbrake.

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.
So, I’ve had that problem where I stopped getting email updates on this thread, so I just discovered that there have been new posts in this thread I have not seen for about a week. Man am I glad that happened.
Ahahaha.
Just an example of how lost we get without your leadership.

All hail Stinky.

Hello Harmy, do you plan to release a last 2.x version of Star Wars before proceeding with a from scratch done 3rd revision of the Despecialized Edition? Or is Towne´s version the last 2.x?
Just wanted to say thanks again for your work on these films!
Here’s a link to the Web page that got me interested enough to
find my way here.
For those of you who haven’t seen this:
I thought I recognized your foul stench when I entered this forum!
We’ve seen it. Almost a year old now.
Do forgive if its been asked alread but will 3.0 utilise SSE or Poitas scan? Read something about the
SSE being ever so slightly out of focus?
“Stargazing wizards, stare into the night,
Hurricanes and blizzards, here comes the final fight”
Hopefully the new scan - I don’t have it yet but I hope to get it soon.
Read something about the SSE being ever so slightly out of focus?
The main issue is the light leak that occurred during the scan. It caused bright light in the frame to streak across darker areas. I can’t wait to see what the new scan looks like.

Since there’s likely less rotoscoping of elements going on in 3.0, and I assume involves mostly inserting cleaned up 35mm footage and color correcting, do you think it will be a quicker process than say 2.5? Or do u think cleaning up the 35mm footage will make it take probably just as long?
We’ll see. I will probably still do a lot of roto work, which is actually harder with 35mm footage, because of stabilization issue.
