Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released) — Page 323

I wasn't complaining at him for just not reading back pages, all the questions he's asked have been thoroughly answered between his posts, so I had to ask how he missed what should be obvious to anyone keeping up.  He's too busy to read, and that's at least a reason.

At 42:50 there's  a white ball behind Obi-Wan that looks like it's rolling. Is that in the originals or is it a Special Edition addition?

Does anyone know anything about this?

Just watched the 2.0 again and I noticed something during the opening crawl.  It seems as though the stars disappear early and reappear late as the scroll passes over them.  Almost as if the text has some kind of opaque black border.

Is this correct?  I've never noticed it before in any other version but I'm not all that observant most of the time :)

Bump, anyone?

Will the Blu-Ray version of 2.1 have the 1985 laserdisc remix?

We are trying to package this up for Harmy ATM.  I'm hopeful.

Awesome, glad to hear it.  How's that going?  Been away the last few days, haven't been keeping up with this or the 1985 thread.  Thanks so much for your efforts, and I'm sorry I have absolutely no skills to contribute to this!  :)

This is done now, and I've sent Harmy a link.  DTS-MA lossless stereo FWIW.

What's the bitrate, BTW?  I've noticed a lot of Blu-rays with stereo DTS-MA 2.0 that are higher bitrate than what they would be if they were just LPCM 2.0, but I assume that's because the core DTS was a full 1.5 MBPS.

Sorry, must have missed that. I saw a high def scan of the original crawl and the black outline is very much there.

The ISO image can be burned to a DVD-DL and should work in most Blu-Ray players.

To burn, you can use image burn following these instructions: http://onlineitpro.com/?p=181

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A single layer Blu-Ray version of this project with higher bitrate video and lossless audio options is going to come out as well. It may take some time to author the BD however, because it will contain various extras and animated menu, which are not finished yet.

For more information, follow this thread.

Is it the same length as the 2.0 ? In other words, can I sync it to the czech dub from version 2.0 mkv ? Or should I wait for the bluray ?

And a great work of course :)

Thanks a lot for the v2.1. When will the mkv version be ready? Its birate is much higher than avchd version.

@pittrek: Yes, the tracks from v2.0 should sync perfectly.

@michaelkirschner: Use JDownloader to download the links and while downloading, rightclick the first link and put "harmy" as the archieve password and it will extract automatically.

@imgqtr: There won't be an MKV version. There will be a BD version that can be remuxed to MKV if one wishes to do so. And it will be quite a bit higher bitrate but from past experience, in most scenes the quality difference is pretty negligible.

Way to go Harmy!

Do you remember how you did that hashTab thingy?
From the .part41.rar I got CRC32: D03CFCC2
Thanks for all your hard work

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

I feel like a kid on christmas. Everyone else in my building will be experiencing slower internet speeds for awhile. : )

Just curious, how diverse of a crowd are we? Globally speaking I mean. I know harmy is CZ. I'm east coast USA. Anyone else from the far reaches of the globe?

Why in 8 hours? Anyway, try updating JDownloader.

That's the ETA jdownloader is giving me but it may be longer since the rars keep asking me to reenter captchas

@ michaelkirschner if you right click on one that is queued, you can hit force download and it'll start that one. Also check on the bottom how many max connections you have enabled. Ive got 3 going at once.

I'm from Slovakia :-) A couple of German fans are here too. A few Dutchmen if I remember. Some people are from the UK...
