Wow! That looks great! the colors look fantastic, and all of the detail now seen in the two figures to the left of the dewback! Great work!
The detail brought out in not only the background, but the passing people is pretty good. The sky is also much improved.

btw, I want to apologize if it seems I'm picking at your work in Ady's ESB:R thread. For the record, your versions of these movies are the definitive versions of the OOT. I only pointed out to him something you might have overlooked in your 1.0 versions (and certainly Lucasfilm did for the Blurays).

So, really? No one noticed that the Dewback is now actually HD and almost no GOUT is used (except a tiny bit on 3P0 where they cropped him off a lot in the SE rotowork)?

My initial response was "WOW, this is exactly how I remember it!" though I think that was more in response to the color shift.
I def noticed that the dewback and saddle to the left looked way better, but it's hard to know how much is color/contrast settings and how much is better original source. Also the sky is a better blue with better contrast with the antenna in background. Overall a great upgrade to the scene.

My computer monitor is small enough (and given that I had the video fullscreened) that I hadn't seen that level of detail at first. Nice job.

I had to take a screen capture and toggle between them to really appreciate the difference. Looks like everything to the left of the image is entirely different--clearer, more detail in the shadows, and all-around better colour.

So, will most of the Mos Eisley fixes be from -1 rather than GOUT now?
Yep. Most of the -1 shots are used just for painting out SE stuff but the overall quality of the scene will be increased quite a bit.
