Get used to uloz.to, it is one of the last filesharing services that still work well even for free (they didn't delete any of my older stuff I upped there and upload's pretty fast and free download speed is OK and they have fairly cheap pay for DL) so I'll probably be using it for sharing the final film.

Any chance to get the final product ready before August? Just asking... Great work Harmy, thank you for doing this.

"Yeah and... and... and I'm gonna be back to talk about them Rolexes."

Yes you can, or in other words, it is well within your ability to get it. I hope that answers your question ;-)

May I get a link to the WP, please?  (is this better?)

Again, yes you may. OK, I'm just teasing :-) I posted a link on the previous page.

I hope you reconsider it for the final film. Please upload the final v2.0 on rapidshare, netload or filefactory. That way a lot more people can download it and enjoy your work.

uloz must be tapped out as I can't download the WP, I'll try again later tonight, hopefully that helps.  Thanks for easing up on me, Harmy, probably wouldn't have found the link for like a day or two.  I'm a little slow sometimes.  ;-)

Hey Harmy just letting you know everything seems fine from what i've watched so far, apart from the color issues you already mentioned. Btw it seemed to freeze for me at 1:33:46:13 on my samsung led tv, but on the pc its fine, so im not sure why that is because all the previous files played fine on the tv through usb before, anyway keep up the good work!

I thought the vader and Obi wan duel looked particularly awesome!

okay, uloz is telling me that I already downloaded this, I did try but my connection was lost.  How do I reset this so uloz lets me try again?

edit: nevermind, it's in delivery mode.  Can't wait to watch this.  Thanks for the great work, Harmy.

Very glad you're back, Harmy. This thread has been quiet for a long time.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away! See what I did there, a Star Trek joke.

Best joke ever.

Incidentally, today I again watched whatever the last version of this was and it was fantastic as usual.  Even my four year old daughter enjoyed it this time (her favorite is "R-Doo-Dee-Doo").

There are still some colour issues, especially the trash compactor scene, which I'm struggling with quite a bit but I'm hoping to still get it fixed (especially the first part before it switches to 3P0, which looks like ass).

What do you attribute being the cause for the weird color of the trash compactor scene?  What source is that from? The Blu Ray I'm assuming?  For me it's so damn hard to see anything on the Blu Ray because everything is so dark.

It's actually caused by a combination of several factors. My main source is You Too's colour correction script encode of the BD, which brilliantly solves some of the BD's most gruesome colour issues such as the ever present magenta tone. Unfortunately in this particular scene, You Too's correction took it even further away from the way it looked on the technicolor print and when I tried squeezing more colour out of it, the black got crushed, so I tried using the original BD footage but my feeble attempts at getting rid of the magenta colouring resulted in the mess that is the first part of the scene in WP3R5, so I asked You Too for advice and he told me to use curves and I managed to fix it; I'll probably render and upload the compactor scene tomorrow.

I had a problem downloading the WP and it stopped playing with only a few mins left, but what I saw looked great.

The redone trash compactor scene looks great.

Seeing all this coming together is making me really look forward to the final version.  Keep it Harmy, looks great!

Yes, trash compactor scene looks awesome now.  Good work.

Yeah, back in business!

I haven't watched the whole thing yet. But during the lightsaber duel, most shots of Obi Wan when he's standing to the left seem to have a pink shift. Harmy, does this match your reference?

Plus, I'm not sure I downloaded the whole file. What's the length supposed to be?

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Yay!  New WP!!!!  YAAAAAYY!!!! ULOZ DIDN'T DROP THE CONNECTION 12 TIMES!!!!!

Overall it's looking really good, as usual Harmy.  I was waiting and waiting for the dead-end hallway shot to be all jiggly, but there's no way you'd ever know that shot had been screwed with - nice!

Haven't looked at the new compactor sequence, but sounds like that's been sorted, so won't bother mentioning anything there.  There does appear to be some weirdness around 1:24:30-1:24:46 with a magenta-y, pinky wash over part of the frame (I'm looking at 1:24:45 particularly - Ben has a weird wash, which includes some, but I don't think quite all of the lights in the wall pannel behind him).  Not sure why that should be as I don't think there's anything that would have been altered within the shot.

Other than that, looking good!  I still think it would be awesome to include the film leader on either the menu, or the film itself, and maybe the Scofield recording as an alternate language - let's go all the way back to '77 baby!

Edit - one other thing I noticed, when the Falcon is leavng the docking bay, there's no gap in the glow around the opening as there is when it's flying into the docking bay earlier in the film (I think it's where the mocon stand was supporting the model).  I honestly can't remember - is that how it's always been, or was that an SE fix?
