Whoa, whoa, whoa. There’s still plenty of meat on that bone. Now you take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby, you’ve got a stew going!

thank you previous two posts, all is right with the world now
The potato asteroid was in Empire, not Jedi.

So, I don’t know if anyone has discussed this yet, but I noticed on Jedi 2.5’s isolated score track that some of the lyrics in Lapti Nek play in the wrong order then they do in the film normally.
Also, out of curiosity, how did you guys manage to isolate Lapti Nek in the first place?
I think it’s the version from the soundtrack or the one that was released as a single. It happens to be different from the one that’s in the film itself.
But the version on the soundtrack has completely different vocals by a different singer. The version in despecialized’s isolated score has the film version’s vocals, just in a different order. That’s not how it was ever released to my knowledge.
I’ve just compared the two (isolated score vs. GOUT) and I can’t seem to find the differences. What are they?

Way to suck the joy out of our posts.

But I thought George Lucas had already boiled the OT, mashed it, and stuck it in a stew. A ‘special’ stew. Because the original recipe apparently didn’t have the ingredients he wanted at the time.
And then, of course, there’s the GOUT, which is potato-quality (read:appears to have been filmed using a potato.)
Confound it all, Samwise Gamgee…

Anyone who doesn’t get this quote is missing out on one of the smartest comedies ever made. By the way, Mavimao, I think I’d like my money back…

Ah sorry, I thought you didn’t get the jokes or something.

I honestly can’t place where the quote is from. I would definitely like to know what one of the smartest comedies ever made is (that is, if I haven’t seen it already and just don’t remember the quote).

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.

DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

Ha! I think I just blue myself after seeing that post.
Oh! I knew that. I’ve said myself it’s one of the smartest comedies ever made, haha.

Listen carefully on the very first shot off Oola, which is the 3rd shot in the scene. After Sy Snoodles kinda makes this “Oooh, Uggh!” sound, which is after her 2nd line of lyrics. From then on a few of the lyrics are messed around.

I would like to ask if there is a torrent of 2.5 on MySpleen, which is under 4.7 GB
There should be a DVD downscale which fits on a DVD5. It’s not HD, but HD with that much compression would just be trading resolution for compression artifacts.
If you have a decent bluray player/HDTV, it should do a fairly decent job of upscaling the SD content either way. Won’t be in any way comparable to watching the avchd or mkv hd versions, but should be very watchable.
I would prefer 720p, even with artifacts.
This is how my ANH copy looks.
It’s 4 GB. Is there a ROTJ copy of similiar quality under 4.7 GB?
Not sure where you got that 4GB version of SW, but I’m afraid if you want 720p under 5GB, you’re gonna probably have to use handbrake or something to make it yourself. As far as I know there is no “official” version of despecialized like that (official meaning not “approved” by Harmy)
Wow, that looks godawful even for 4GB! I’ve seen 4GB 720p rips that looked pretty decent - judging by the screenshot, this is not one of them.
Why not using Dual Layer DVD’s?
It sounds like he doesn’t want any dvd, even single layer. More likely, he wants something fat32 compatible.
I have Laserschwert’s German Despecialized Edition as 3 GB 720 mp4, 2-pass encoded, for my mobile. I did this with with a commercial encoder, quality is really good. The only problem… It has German audio only.
If there is demand I can encode Harmy’s original versions with English audio - if I get Harmy and Laserschwert’s permission to do that.
