Halo StarWars (Halo Custom Edition Mod)

Hello Everyone at Original Trilogy,

For the past few years I have been working hard on combining my favorite movie trilogy StarWars with my favorite game engine Halo Combat Evolved.

Halo Star Wars is an almost 100% custom project.  The map consists of two Star Destroyers on either side of an asteroid field. The map is primarily designed for intense dogfights but will also include some epic close quaters combat throughout the interior of the star destroyers. The map will be ideal for CTF. Player must choose a fighter and fly/dogfight their way to the enemy Star Destroyer, where they will then land and battle their way through the interior of the ship to the enemy flag. After stealing the flag they will have to make their way to one of the two hangars, steal a fighter, survive space battle that will more than likely be raging in the asteroid belt, and then finally score.

Looks very nice! I've never played Halo and this actually makes me want to.

I'm guessing the music was added in post, wasn't it?

I like the idea of dogfights, although to be honest I don't really like the lightsaber used as a boomerang, and the ships look out of scale when near the stormtroopers. That could put off some people, but there you go, can't please everybody.

If only someone would convert this to run with the Xbox Halo *sigh*.

You don't buy an Xbox for the mods, like you don't buy a Mac for gaming!

The mod looks sweet, too. I'd play it!

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

I keep misreading this as "Hello StarWars."

I've played a a lot of modified games on my Xbox, I will never own a windows machine so it's a reasonable dream to dream.
