There is an increased interest in the Definitive Collection artwork. Several years back, I made an updated collage, but my skills have since improved tremendously, so I decided to re-tackle it with better resources. I chose DeviantART, because they don't seem to compress like imageshack, and photobucket is getting to ridiculous to use these days.

I’m also looking for original hi-res art from Empire (style A poster) without text, but the first draft that doesn’t have Yoda (or Lando, etc.,) Anybody seen this?

As I grew up my Favorit Poster of the Trilogy was always the German Art for The Empire Strikes Back…
I Had that Poster in my Room as a Child (from an old German Youth Magazine) and alwaysed loved it.
(This is a small Preview… the HiRes Version is linked at the end of the Post)
As I started to research my own Blu Ray Set i wanted to use the Poster art I grew up with… sadly I coudn’t find the Pic I was Looking Fotr in HighRes… so I searched my Basement for my old Poster (as I said it was out of a magazin on pretty cheap paper and in very bad shape today…)
So I scanned it in different parts and cleaned up the Artwork.
It was very much work and is still not perfect (as a lot of Informationes were missing because of a wrong crop of the original Poster and the Age of it)
but MAYBE somebody also wants to use it… i already Testprinted it in the Size of a DVD Cover and in looks pretty great, so don’t let the rasterization fool you 😉
If somebody has that Image in better Quality and/or with the missing parts at the Sides I would be VERY happy to get it.
Also I would be very happy to see what you do with that image 😉

What kind of constructive criticism are you looking for found images in the Internet?
Google “Star Wars poster” and Larger than 2MP. I can ruin the found images myself, too.

Um… the poster art for just about any movie can be found textless in high-res. You know, because the titles were usually put on after it was painted. Blu-Ray.com has a whole lot of high-res textless poster art. And also, the only ones that seem horribly affected by any photoshop antics are the DVD covers, and those were just photoshop messes to start with. Most of the other ones seem like fine original artwork without text, though the ESB Advanced one looks kind of weird and may have been shopped. I can’t tell looking at my moniter right now.
