I am taking a break from this forum for a bit, before I do and say things I will regret later on.   Just know that am disappointed in peoples behavior in here and their lack of respect for beliefs different from their own.

 I'm sorry you believe in a different fabric than I do.  I like to think that satin has a sense of humor, but perhaps yours is a more vengeful fabric.

Unless you're a Satanist (which I know you aren't), I don't really see what's so offensive about a bunch of jokes based off someone's misspelling of "Satan".

 Yep.  I don't understand why those jokes would be offensive.

Unless he's worried about the coming Satin War.  Send me an email if you are, so I might pray for you to find the truth about fabric before it's too late.

I would like to apologize to everyone for overreacting yesterday and going a bit nuts.  I shouldn't have been so offended by the Satin jokes.  The night before, I had taken something to help me sleep and sometimes those things can make me a little goofy and irritable and depressed, which I was yesterday.   I am sorry to everyone in here. 

I would also like to apologize to Twister for jumping the gun.   I don't know whether she is or isn't as religious as she has been acting lately, but I shouldn't have assumed it was a fake job.  I am sorry.

 I truly do not mean to ruin anyone's fun.  I am sorry I come off that way.  It is that just my religion means a lot to me and I get hurt when I think(in this case incorrectly) that people are disrespecting it.  

As for for Bingo, I remind everyone that his absence is 100% voluntary.   He chose to leave and stay away, it is his choice whether or not to comes back.   If he does come back,  then I will have to decide what to do.   I am sorry for not being as much "fun" as Bingo is.   I can only be me.  One thing I do wish is that some in here would look at the thing with Bingo from my shoes. 

I also don't want continuous agreement(if I did I wouldn't want Ferris and C3PS to return, and I do want them to return).   My dispute with Bingo goes beyond simple disagreement with him.   The reason I might leave if he were return, wouldn't be because he is preferred(although obviously he is by a few), but because I do not think I could enjoy this forum with him on it.  He interfered with me being able to enjoy this forum and would probably do so again. 

If he wants to return, there is nothing I can or will do to stop it.  Any one that wants him to return, should speak to him.

I was too harsh in what I said earlier.  It's not that I prefer you over him, it's just that if you wanted to leave anyway he may as well come back since you're the primary reason he stays away.  I'd really like for both of you to stay.

Brief corrective interjection here.

I stopped posting on off topic (I still post occasionally on the obituary section and like now to make a specific point about my absence) because it became tiresome and frustrating for me to be frequently called to book over controversial ideas I have come to by use of reason and the application of evidence and open to correction by people who write reams advertising and explaining the "faith of their parents".

You know the drill...

Warb is correct I chose to not write here. He isn't the contributor who brought me to this conclusive act. Maybe when the new forum goes online the fun sections of off topic can be separated from the political (and religion is wholly political in this context) silly sections so I can go back to what I enjoyed doing most here.

I lack the strength of character to keep my fingers from typing when I see something utterly daft or mean spirited on the internet and this leads me into conversations which poke at rather tender inflamed near the bone parts of my personality.

I have the same problem with DerTubez and Faceboot. I've been chased around the web by someone trying to get me to sign an inaccurate petition. I've had people ask me to 'friend' them only to make bitey presuming comments at me. You need a real masochist streak to volunteer to shove your face into that.

As for Warb I think personal comments about him are counter productive. I have come to suspect medical conditions play a part in some of what he says while the bulk of what he says comes from a person trying to do what he thinks is the right thing. Which is admirable and what I try and frequently fail to do.

It would not be a good idea for me to come back to off topic in it's current form and I think it's handy for Warb to have a virtual space to meet up with people and talk about the stuff he talks about.

Fun blethering and all but I'm currently having a Michael Caine moment, stuck in an angry sewer full of shouty pepper pots... again!

Maybe I am the primary reason or maybe I am not, but I am not the only reason.   The conversation that caused him to make the final decision to leave(although maybe he is now announcing his return with the post above), wasn't even with me it was with Darth_Ender:
