Poita, I thought I'd have a go at sorting out that old 1826 photo. I used some advanced software I had lying around to cleanup the image...
^ Original
^ Cleaned up.
Wow somebody needs to re-write the history books and then sue George Lucas!

That's the most tasteful expression of fanboy disappointment I've ever seen! ;)

I'd say my childhood died in June 2004.

^ That's kinda beautiful. Wonder what the legal side of this is? Will it be the SE dubbed? Would be cool if it was a GOUT print being screened? Would have to learn Navajo and move to the Navajo nation.
^ Want one of those T-Shirts.
^ Princess Leia ^ Luke Skywalker ^ Han Solo

If Lucasfilm has given their blessing, I imagine there are no legal worries.
I recall seeing a news report about a similar effort to dub a Disney film into a native American dialect a decade or so back.

Very funny discussion video with Mark kermode so I suggest watching it all, but there is a funny Lucas reference at 4.39 that's worth catching.

Are those your words in quotes? And if so, can you elaborate a bit while I try to find a download?
No, it's a quote from North Norfolk's premier Digital disc Jockey, Alan Partridge. He mentioned on his radio show that he rates Geoff Love's version of Abba's 'Knowing me, knowing you' over the original.
He also said that...
"Wings were the band The Beatles could have been"
There's a documentary about his life coming out soon

Ah, ok. Thought it was strange that you put your own words in quotes and that anybody could out-do Williams at Williams own game!

I'm not a big Beatles fan, but that's a ridiculous thing to say! Almost like saying "Electronic were the group The Smiths could have been"!

As some people think Wings was Sir Paul's first band, perhaps it's a joke?
I saw a bit of one of those Nat Geo shows where some head shrinker tries to "help" a compulsive collector, by getting them to burn some of it, along with other pop psychology tactics guys who hoard old Playboy mags are never subjected to. In this case, it was a fellow obsessed with a slightly obscure MLB player who had literally everything related to the man. (Apparently it was a father figure complex.) The few Star Wars items in this guy's room were mercifully unmentioned, but I'm sure they will do a SW fan eventually. ;)
I think SciFi had a similar show where someone was slowly being devoured by their Star Wars hoard.

Yeah wires crossed if you've never seen Alan Partridge. He's a parody of a nobody Z celeb radio jock with delusions of grandeur played brilliantly by his creator Steve Coogan.

What! He's not real!?!

Oh thank god. I was sure that was Steve Coogan and I thought there was a chance I was going crazy.
Some may have been unaware and never seen his comedic brilliance. Kinda like Alex Jones for us in Britain? Lol
