I don’t know how anyone could dislike Young Frankenstein (unlike they happened to dislike the Karloff Frankenstein films beforehand).
Are you related to him or something?
LOL! I wish.
I’m simply trying to figure out why I find your stuff and Mel’s stuff funny. I’m probably overthinking things.
Where were you in '77?

I don’t really like Early Mel either. Only movies of his I like are Spaceballs, Men in Tights, and Dracula. Like he said, MIT ain’t as good once you’ve grown up, but it was hilarious as a kid. I still watch it.
Psst! Frink has a huge Mel Brooks collection, which is only dwarfed by his extensive anime collection! Pass it on!

Well obviously. If I’m gonna tell you guys all anime is terrible and I should know because I’ve seen it all…

Nice try. That hardly explains the Pikachu bedsheets or the Sailor Moon wardrobe.
That’s work related.

Well if he’s not in disguise, how else could he get in the anime conventions to try to tell them the Truth™ of how trashy anime is?

Furious doing of taxes isn’t a job.
Well, maybe in the seamier corners of the Internet it is …

I’m never going to be able to look at a CPA the same way ever again.

That’s shaping up to be a great site.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

I want to see a film adaptation of The Glove of Darth Vader.
But only if it includes the sky house.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

As long as the writers recognized how bad the source material is and played up the camp, I see no problem with this.
I’d recommend casting Billy Zane as Trioculus.
Billy Zane as a Storm Trooper!
Meh.
I tried to write out a long and complicated fan theory, but I wound up disagreeing with myself. Whoops.

For a second there I thought I’d stumbled into the Mirror Universe and read a post by Mirror Imps’cum.

Long story very, very short;
The Force Awakens is a sort of meta-commentary on the franchise as a whole. Rey is all the young, new fans who were introduced to SW by TFA, Maz Kanata is a levelheaded fan whose been around a while, Kylo is a crazy fanboy, Han is George Lucas, Luke is Star Wars itself.

Haha Kylo Ren is a pissy TFN type. Or wait, if Han is Lucas, then Kylo Ren is… us?
Also, not really the same but reminded me of this: http://www.giantbomb.com/articles/off-the-clock-space-opera-millennials-and-their-gr/1100-5371/

Yeah the TFN type is what I had in mind until I realized him killing Han made him us. Maybe he’s just the worst of us, like ImpScum.

Pfft. You’d never catch me using a crossguard lightsaber. It’s two standard lightsabers* for me all the way.
*One with a crimson blade, the other a teal blade.
