We all know how amazing George’s ideas are.
Duck tits.
Are there lobsters in Star Wars?
Close enough?
Where were you in '77?
I’ll take it.
Close enough?
Lobsters don’t have mammary glands.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
Star Wars: Galaxies decided that Mon Cals were mammary-less, being non-mammals.

George didn’t get that memo. 😉
Unfortunately, we never got to see the water ballet Palpatine and Anakin were watching in Episode III in closeup.

I don’t know if you can pin the duck boobs on George specifically.

Well, the guy made this:
It’s so weird to me that people say that the band in the bar in Star Wars only played one song on repeat. They play that one song once and then play another that nobody remembers and that song gets the bigger cheer from the audience!
Idiots!Agreed.
We were in the cantina for, what, ten minutes or so? How many songs were they supposed to play?
They should have played Rock Lobster once.
It’s too long! The whole cantina scene would have just been Rock Lobster!
EXACTLY
Fortunately, we never got to see the water ballet Palpatine and Anakin were watching in Episode III in closeup.

You mean George’s super duper ultra ingenious visual metaphor that definitely doesn’t imply that Sheev and Plageius created Anakin by impregnating some random unmarried women called Shmi Skywalker through midichlorians? Yeah, would’ve loved to have seen it too.
I never thought of it that way. Whoa.
Where were you in '77?
Yikes, that’s creepier than I remember. Mainly because I’m not entirely sure I’ve ever watch ROTS all the way through. Not even back when I sorta liked the PT.
.
I never thought of it that way. Whoa.
That was actually going to happen.
I’ve seen a page from one of the books which had a page from ROTS when Palpatine reveals himself to Anakin. Originally, it went way further… Infuriatingly so.
Palpatine actually says “You can think of me as your father”, IIRC
I have no words.
Only unyielding rage.
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.
I surprised Robot Chicken hasn’t done a sketch where Palpatine romances Shmi, and then erases her memory once he’s knocked her up. 😉
Where were you in '77?
^ That would probably go against the popular fan theory of Qui-Gon having done that exact thing.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
So Qui-Gon is supposed to have been on Tatooine before TPM?
Where were you in '77?
Yeah, I think the idea is that Qui-Gon and Shmi have some prior history of some sort. It’s based largely on the performances of Liam Neeson and Pernilla August, I’d say.
IIRC the theory was a lot more common before ROTS talked about Darth Plagueis and his magic ability to use the original dint the Force to create life. Not surprising really.

Are we confusing The Ridiculous Menace with actual canon? Because I’m ok with that.

Well, to be fair it seems to be a pretty common idea based on the actors performances, as ATM suggested. And that’s what gave me the idea. But I’m ok with TRM canon becoming actual canon as well.
Is this for real?
Seriously, is this from an actual canon SW comic? This seems more like Robot Chicken joke. I honestly can’t read this panel without hearing Seth MacFarlane’s voice as Palpatine.

I wish they would reboot the Darth Vader comic series. Reboot it but keep the Vader Down arc intact.
