Hasbro made a large size figure of Ric Olie’s droid, but no 12 inch Ric? What’s wrong with this universe? 😉

Ric’s already 12 inches, baby.

I took this quiz on starwars.com and I got Sy Snootles 😦
Something interesting is that the picture that came up was actually a high quality version of the original puppet rather than the CGI abomination version. #OOTconfirmed jk but still noteworthy.
I decided to do a reverse image search on Google. That particular picture exists nowhere else on the web, though there are similar ones. Definitely taken intentionally from internal sources, not off Google images by some lazy intern.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
Official Pix uses it. Probably a standard publicity shot they have on file.

I remember watching a few years ago a news broadcasting harshly commenting on the opposition with the Imperial March in background (ofc the channel was owned by the then prime minister Berlusconi).

So, Disney releases a 3D Blu Ray in North America for the first time in ages, and it’s not TFA. Right…

You’ll have it by Christmas or I’ll eat my hat, Silverwook!
I’ll hold you to that. 😉

I’ve seen this exact phrase before, on another site…

Now we know who has the keys to the Twitter castle.

I thought we already knew that.
Yeah, all the mods have a key. Not like we can afford an intern for that. 😉

Honestly you’d have to pay me too watch star wars while wearing a $0.05 pair of tight plastic glasses. Would totally ruin the experience.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
I think the home theater glasses are a tad more expensive. 😉
In any event Disney had been blowing off the U.S. market for some time, only releasing 3D Blu Rays overseas. Any film released in 3D theatrically ought to have a home release for those who want to buy it.

I’ve actually never watched 3D in a home theater before. But I already find it unimpressive on the big screen so I have no pressing desire to test it out.

There have been too many rushed cheap conversions of 2D films, and filmmakers unwilling to be more aggressive with the depth the format is capable of. The 3D films of the 50’s did it right.
“Glasses free” systems are being developed as well.

Disney releases all of their Marvel Movies and some of their Animated Features (Big Hero 6, Zootopia, The Good Dinosaur, and Inside Out) in 3D.

Marvel and Pixar seem to have some autonomy in regards to the Blu Ray releases. There was much gnashing of teeth online when Frozen was not available in 3D in the U.S., and Big Hero 6 did not come out here either.
Hopefully, Zootopia is the beginning of a reversal of that trend.

Interesting, I saw Zootopia and Big Hero 6 in 3D at Walmart today. I thought Canada sold the same stuff as the US

Don’t bring me into this.
FYI, here’s the original version of the podrace announcers:
That is literally scary. It looks like something out of a low budget ripoff of Star Wars.
TFA?
