Star Wars premieres in China four decades late
Poor China, deprived for so long and you know what version was likely shown. =(
Just more incentive for me to travel there and set fire to Mao's corpse.

If nothing else, it increases the chances of official Mandarin dubs for the OT, which would be cool (you know, once despecialized and synced to the good versions). If anyone sees a lead on this front, let me know.

“But the character design is weak, the leading actress is not beautiful, the leading actor is not handsome and action scenes are like children fighting.”
Wow, they shouldn't have shown the movie at all! Spread the fire.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.

They've grown accustomed to big ugly modern Western films. Not every American movie can be Transformers, PRC!
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

I've read the first two issues of Tales of the Jedi (the introductory mini-series is called Golden Age of the Sith).
Pretty good so far. I know Anderson gets a lot of flack, but I'm no sure why yet. Here's rooting for Jori and Gav!

He's like a child reviewing. A bratty, spoiled child with no imagination.
Welcome, Harrold...you seem new to me...?
I was once…but now I’m not… Further: zyzzogeton

Exactly 6 months until The Force Awakens. Get excited.

JFTR, Frink gets his panties in a bunch when anyone brings EU stuff up here, so any future thoughts you have on the EU should go here.
Yes, hello world!
Thanks. Got it. I promise to keep EU talk in its appropriate place.
To me, this is more of a thing that should be looping in a pop art installation, as opposed to actually sitting through. I watched the first three minutes or so. Nice use of non-SEs for the originals and a nice call-out to Harmy's work.
^Oy, the sensory overload! Now I know how Ray Milland's character in this movie felt every time he sat down to watch TV!
Seems like something none would have produced.

The sensory overload isn't *that* bad, and I would know, I'm the autistic one :P. To be fair, I wouldn't continue watching that after a few minutes. Still, pretty awesome.
Nobody sang The Bunny Song in years…
Oops...
Wait, he hates Star Wars so much he destroyed all of his collection? I know he's done con appearances in the past.
And what's up with the jackass in the comments section who says Frank Oz has been dead for years?

This actually looks much more like what I'd imagined Anikin would look like before the PT!

Nah, it's all about young Sebastian Shaw.
