Are the second and third any better than the first? I didn't find the first one that funny overall, though the editing was fantastic for a Ridiculousness-style (i.e. editing the movie rather than making from scratch) parody.

I'm reading the book 'The Making Of Day Of The Dead', and in it they mention the filming location of The Wampum Caves, later known as the Wampum Industrial Facility. Well, the facility is just like the film. A huge 2 million square feet underground storage area where everything and anything is stored. In the film it is mentioned that stored down there are "the negatives of all your favorite movies". Well, the book mentions that the negatives of the Star Wars films were stored down there. With so much stuff stored down there I wonder if the originals are still there !

Thankfully, I've never seen anyone actually put a Slave Leia costume on a pet. And yes, they do make those.

Lucasfilm just posted an excerpt from a Q&A about the Clone Wars Lost Episodes, more specifically about Darth Bane.
I think old rumors from past Star Wars fandom are beginning to resurface just to f**k with people (mainly some treatments I remember from a past site that a few people are beginning to believe). That and people making fake footage to paste on the internet to simulate a leak.
I’m just here because I’m driving tonight.
We should use the talent pool here to make some fake footage, and see if the media outlets fall for it. ;)

Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of ESB on VHS.

I've read that book and wondered those thoughts myself.
But I remember reading somewhere that there was some kind of accident (Flood? Fire? I can't remember) sometime in the 1990's that destroyed most of what was stored down there. I did a quick Google and didn't find anything, so maybe I'm wrong.
Somebody had left a hardcover copy of A New Dawn (the recent SW book featuring Kanan and Hera) in a place where the residents of our apartment building dump their unwanted but usable stuff. Neat!

Is that a new picture? I can't remember seeing this before.
I think it's a vintage photo.

I can't find anything either. The website FAQ talks about cave in checks but nothing in the history. http://wampumunderground.com/about-us/our-history/
[Page Avjet became the sole owner in 1980, rebranding the mine as the Wampum Industrial Facility. Through the years, space has been used in a variety of ways: from a storage facility for equipment, metal alloys, vehicles, and food products to a secure records storage facility with humidity and temperature controlled vaults for vital records, film (Star Wars Trilogy along with other classics), microfilm and computer tapes, to a film location for movies including the 1985 cult classic Day of the Dead by George Romero.]
I think it's about time theremin music made an appearance in a Star Wars film.
I recommend The Octopus Project.

Completely random...I watched a movie on Netflix that featured one of the finalists for little Ani (seen in The Beginning doc). Had no idea until I Googled him up.
Were they better at acting?
In all fairness to Jake Lloyd, I think someone like Spielberg could have gotten a better performance out of him. I don't think Lucas had directed a child actor that young before, aside from THX 1138.

Ah, but you didn't know I was talking about his toes, did you?
A few pics I stumbled across while looking for something else. Some are new to me.
