I've been watching Farscape again recently and it really is a shame Wayne Pygram wasn't allowed to play Tarkin as the secondary villain all the way through the PT.
He needn't have worn that awful Halloween mask, with the right haircut/wig and uniform he would have done just fine.
I post a picture of Greedo kissing another cantina patron, and nobody says a darn thing. *pout*
JEDIT:Damn you, Bingowings! :P

To 005, thank you. The rest of you, random thoughts or get out.
005 did not post a random thought. His post explained something very specific that happened to him.
Compared to his post, our random discussion could easily qualify as random thoughts.
真実
Darth Darth Binks went to town riding on a eopie. Stuck a hydrospanner in his t**t and called it Little Orphan Ani.
Is that random enough fer ya?
I agree, they didn't have to bury Pygram under makeup that was not very convincing. (I read somewhere he couldn't even talk with it on.) Maybe he'll get a part in the sequels.
Putting Tarkin in Episode III was likely an afterthought. Glad he turned up in The Clone Wars. There's no reason he can't pop up in Rebels once in a while.

When Obi-wan said the line "...and he was a good friend," could he have actually referred to Detxter Jettster instead of Anakin? I mean he could of had five or six things going on in his head at the time, and he chose to bum out on a desert planet for 20 years instead of you know, helping the REBEL ALLIANCE.
^Since there was more chemistry between the two than there was with with Hayder, I'll go ahead and say yes.

If Jar-Jar had been replaced with Dexter a lot of the frustration of the PT would have melted. He looks as fake but he is much more fun. Imagine a fat four armed diner chef shooting guns at battledroids and tell me it wouldn't have been more enjoyable than Strepin Fetchit the amphibian rodent years.
Dexter shooting Grievous and saving his pal only to be shot by the Clones would have been a unique moment of drama not mentioned in the OT.
I like Dexter. I don't think he's been seen in TCW, either. The less said about his appearance in Detours the better. ;)

This is Dexter's real backstory for me.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

I like Dex, too. I just wish he was a guy in a suit/animatronics instead of ugly, fake, plastic-looking CGI.
I was about to pull a Warb and *sigh* about the predictable CG comment, but then I took a look again for myself. Man, if any bit character in the prequels didn't age well in the graphics department, it's Dex.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Yeah, especially in HD, I watched the scene now in a small 360p window on YT and it looked ok but I just skimmed through the BD of Ep II recently and the CGI in that scene looks really bad at that resolution.
Dex looks pretty good compared to these guys.

Just woke up from a Star Wars related dream. I dreamed I was watching the latest version of ANH, and saw a newly reinstated deleted scene. It was before the Battle of Yavin, and Luke was at the grocery store in his yellow 'celebration' jacket picking up some 70's-looking beer. In line at the register in front of him was another rebel pilot. (I think it was the one who says, "How many guns do you think, gold five?" but I'm not sure.) He and Luke chat briefly about why they're in the rebellion. Luke notices that he has a metal peg leg, and asks why he doesn't use a robotic limb replacement. The pilot answers something about how the damn Empire makes it so expensive. I guess maybe that's his characterization about why he hates the Empire, maybe.
I'm sure someone will remember seeing your dream on screen in 1977 sometime in the future.

I hope Harmy fakes this one too.
That guy's background could be a Rebels episode. "The Empire makes getting robotic limbs so damn expensive! GAH!"
Well, there is that gag shot in Empire of Dreams where Leia hands a beer up to Luke in his X-Wing cockpit. ;)
TMBTM used it in his fanedit.

Fresh from the grocery store.
I love that gif.
Apparently this guy has a non-robotic peg leg that we never get to see. Palpa-care makes those so damn expensive.
