We should also remember that people really did see Star Wars over and over and over, even if they weren’t taking notes for a costume. That’s how amazing it was, and that’s why it was in theatres for months and months, got re-released, etc.

What’s the number of the AOTC scene in which Anakin confesses to Padmé about what he did to the Tusken? I mean, the duel between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan in ANH is Scene 38. But what’s the number of this scene? Also, what’s the number of the scene where Leia kisses Luke to make Han jealous? And what’s the number of the ROTJ scene in wich they placed “Jedi Rocks” in the Special Editions?

What’s the long term plan for Star Wars? It seems like there’s just going to be an endless string of chronologically haphazard stories, with no central time period of where the overall story is “now.”

My stance on revising fan edits.

I think you’ve pretty much got it. They seem to be mainly focusing on the pre-OT and post-OT eras for now. That may change when the movies start coming out again.

Edit: I forgot about Eclipse and Acolyte and the High Republic stuff. That muddles things a bit more.

I’m sure casual viewers are pretty confused by the chronology at this point.

But we can’t turn back. Fear is their greatest defense. I doubt if the actual security there is any greater than it was on Aquilae or Sullust. And what there is is most likely directed towards a large-scale assault.

I do miss the time when the content coming out was focused on a specific era…

After being beaten and battered by prequel hate, I promise not to be that to the next generation.
