Hi all

Love the work you all do on here

I am planning a rewatch of the full Saga with my son and want something that gives all the key info you need for the live action projects in as few as possible edits eg who is this Ahsoka person? How is Maul still alive? What is the darksaber? Who are these characters in Ahsoka?

Could anyone recommend to me the best possible edits of the animated shows (2003 CW, 2008 CW, Rebels, Forces of Destiny etc) that give the main character highlights in the most efficient way of viewing?

I’ve made an edit of the Clone Wars which covers the key moments from 2003 CW, 2008 CW, and Forces of Destiny. It also includes the key moments from Tales of the Jedi - essentially the full clone wars era timeline.

One of my recommended viewing paths there is “I ONLY want to watch content that sets me up for the Filoniverse shows quickest”. That one sounds like what you’re after in terms of explaining Ahsoka, Maul, Darksaber, etc.

I do highly recommend EddieDean’s Clone Wars Refocused as the perfect version of Clone Wars. But if your looking for an even shorter version that covers the essentials, maybe look at the Clone Wars portions of my “Star Wars: The Series” edit here https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Star-Wars-The-Series/id/94689#1486062. My edit also includes Rebels, although if you have never seen Rebels I say watch it in full, it is very good. But for a shorter version, or an “essentials” version, you could watch mine.
