Im in the middle of making a new DVD with some docs and stuff on. One of the docs is ‘WSWRTW’ now no matter how I try I cant get the audio! I’ve used TMPGEnc to transfer video and audio to the disk, I’ve tryed extacting it with 3 differnt programs, I 've even tryed using a screen capture that has sound but that didnt work either!

So can anyone send me an mp3 or wav file via yousendit of the audio? Its the version with no ads.

I had a problem with divx files once and I had to upgrade the ac3 software/codec's.

I think the upgrade was called ac3filter_0_70b.exe

Maybe it is worth a try........

I think the file you are refering to actually didn't have any audio. It was a condensed version of the actual documentary with only the behind the scenes footage that wasn't seen in any other documentary. You should be using the actual dvd transfer of the documentary. digitalfreak's is the best one.

No, its the whole thing, and has audio when played in WMP Classic.
While playing in MPC, select Play -> Filters, then look what audio decoder is being used. It'll usually be either MPEG-1 (for MP3 audio) or AC3Filter (for AC-3 audio).

If it's either of the above 2 I don't see why you couldn't extract it.

I suggest you post more details of the programs/methods you tried and the error messages you received in in the Technical Discussions forum.
