Is the Big Breakfast still on?

As I said in that other thread, I think they're gonna hold onto the teaser and save it for Strange Magic in January.
After seeing the Jar Jar levels of uncomfortableness in the Strange Magic trailer, attaching the Ep 7 trailer to this movie would be epically misguided.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
Where did you see the Strange Magic trailer?
JEDIT:Nevermind!
Wonder if they have revamped the Lucasfilm logo, or this is a one off?

The green/silver 3D logo was attached to the Episode 1 3D trailer, so that part is revamped. I doubt that the bunny is a permanent addition though.

What's misguided about it. If that's the only way to see the teaser, that's guaranteed ticket sales. Compared to increased sales for a competitor.

I think what he's trying to say is... they don't want this movie to sell tickets.

Exactly. That's probably why it's a January release that we're just now getting a trailer for. And Disney seems to be distancing itself from George Lucas and the CGI-heavy prequels.

If they had zero faith in it they wouldn't have given it a theatrical release. It would either have been buried or gone straight to video. As it stands, it doesn't look like it will do much business. The best way for them guarantee some profit would be to give it the TFA teaser as an exclusive.
I wouldn't be surprised if the reason it was announced and released so suddenly was that they realized they had this sitting there from before the sale and decided to cash in on it with the teaser instead of giving business to The Hobbit.
You might be right. They did essentially bury Detours in an unmarked grave, and this looks way better compared to that. ;)

There will be little to nothing to post. This film will be even more tightly controlled than the last star trek film.
I would be surprised if they even post pictures of the cast in costume. Like they did of Ford on Crystal Skull.
I doubt the plot will ever be known up until release day.
Since return of the jedi even if there is lets say a novelization or comic book adaptation it won't come out in advance of the film like they did on star wars or empire.
Any social media whether tweets or facebook will probably be false leads from the studio. The modern day Blue Harvest.
;)
Interesting, if true. Wonder if they would be sending out drives with just the trailer on it, or some sort of satellite delivery?

Okay, suddenly going to have to see a movie next weekend I guess.
If only they could get it at the bargain theater, so I can go see Guardians Of The Galaxy again. ;)

Show the teaser at only 100 theaters that are currently unannounced? I'm not sure if I'm buying this rumor quite yet. Also, there's another discrepancy, a few rumors from supposed different sources prior said the teaser was a little over a minute. And now it's 90 seconds. I guess that's to be expected with rumors.
Supposed quote from TFA.

I think a little over a minute and a minute and a half are close enough, don't you? Maybe the extra few seconds is due to company logos and whatnot at the beginning.

That's true. The original rumor did say the rough cut of the teaser was about a minute and that probably didn't include the stuff at the beginning and end.
This shot better not be from the teaser!

Lens flares?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope not because that isn't very good CGI. It could be fan made based on the one of the teaser descriptions of the Falcon flying into the camera.
How can you tell from such a small compressed gif? I seriously doubt we'd see the final finished FX in this anyway.
Where were you in '77?
How can I tell it's CGI? It seems to be especially when the Falcon gets closer to the camera. And it has the appearance of a video game cut scene from the 00s. Has there been any hint of them using models for the space scenes?
Did anyone think there wouldn't be lense flare?
The obvious lens flare tends to make me think it's fake.
Where were you in '77?
I would believe it to be fake honestly, because it looks way too JJ Trek, and not like Star Wars is supposed to look, and we understand that JJ knows Star Wars really well from the videos of the puppet, X-wing, and the amazing full sized millennium falcon. Plus for a CG Falcon, there are better looking 3d models out there (not that there's much detail to see from a small gif).
But if this was real, well I'd certainly not be happy. BTW, has it been confirmed yet wether they are using miniatures and real models for FX shots, especially space scenes as well? I haven't heard anything about that I remember.
