How about the assassin from Star Trek 6?

Where were you in '77?

More thoughts. The scope could waver a bit as if the assassin can’t decide between Boss Nass and Jar Jar? Nass could do his spittle take in reaction to Bink’s demise.

And here’s another potential doer of the dirty deed. 😉

Why only one sniper? Why not multiple ones?

Here’s another idea, replace all Mace Windu dialogue with lines from this guy:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0X7BC1GLp8

“Master Windu, I take it General Grievous has been destroyed then. I must say you’re here sooner than expected”
“Bring yo ass here. activates lightsaber This stick right here’ll whoop yo ass.”
“Are you threatening me? Master Jedi?”

Thus proving my original instinct was correct.

I think Jar Jar just might be the guy who helped usher in The Rise of the Machines. We have to stop him.

Also, just putting this here for Yoda’s exile music so I don’t forget. Just a little something to get his toes tapping at his lowest point.

JEDIT: I love Reel Big Fish’s music but they seem like assholes. Probably the kind of guys that talk about getting a lot of ass and titties.

Judging by your avatar, you’re extremely biased against him, anyway. 😉

Does that guy have issues or something? Is extreme-ebonics-disorder a real thing?

I think it’s called “whoring for attention”.

I don’t know, he stops for a bit to catch his breath only to burst out laughing at how ridiculous he’s acting. Maybe he’s just doing it for shits and giggles IDK

I’m sorry, killing him that way just takes me out of the comedy. A blaster shot is more funny.

JEDIT:Showing the assassin before the deed may also be giving away the punchline of Jar Jar’s death.

I’m mostly liking it, I think showing the assassin prepping builds things up pretty nicely, and it mixes together well, though I also liked an earlier suggestion of showing a few assassins setting up. With the single crosshair view, I guess one assassin makes sense, though it would be funny if you could get like two or three crosshair circles wandering around the screen and settling on him (though it sounds like you had grief enough getting the effect to where it is, so I’m sure this would be asking too much), but the ultimate pay off of this approach would be the additional humor of hearing a few extra and distinct gunshots, to make sure he’s dead. Anyway, I’m pretty pleased with where that is going.

Actually, here’s a different thought… what if after the first gunshot, you put in some Jar-Jar audio clips that might make it sound like he is shot and disoriented and then another shot puts him down (immediately followed by the thud)? Along the lines of * BANG* “… icky goo…” * BANG* * THUD*. Or him screaming hysterically or something. Him being annoying one last time would seem fitting.

Watching this cut, I don’t know why but it kind of feels like something is a bit off with the “weesa free” party transition… What do you guys think? Maybe it is the party music going too long after transitioning back to somber footage.

The angel carving bit is spot on, btw.

Maybe, but with the assassin he’s currently going with, I’m liking the subtle story layer it suggests that she’s killing him for the good of us all due to foreknowledge of a terrible future he’s at fault for.

Love the assassin buildup to the gag. It gets funnier because you see it coming. The voiceover as we see the necklace had me laughing. Very good stuff; It looks like avoiding the bulk of the ROTR spoilers will serve me well.

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
