This is just a quick little idea, but maybe have most of (or maybe even all of) Samuel L. Jackson's dialogue be censored by an audio beep?

or/and you could find dialogue from his other movies if you have any of his dvd's laying around - Snakes on a plane and Pulp Fiction, where he shouts a bit more :)
Black Snake Moan - might find some amusing dialogue from there too.

I don't think I have any other Sam Jackson films except for Unbreakable. Hmmm...
I do like the audio beep idea.
So Bob might be taking a crack at corellian's idea of having Obi overshoot the platform, and I also want to incorporate some of Bob's ideas from the video he posted. But in the meantime, here's where I'm at right now...

Hey Fronk, that's cool that Bob is having a go at the overshoot. I also thought the idea of Obi-Wan talking as he's falling was good, too. :)

I have a few ideas for the final duel segments but haven't had time to work on them yet. I'd like to have Obi-wan get trapped by the force field multiple times instead of just once. Also have him yell NOOOOOOOOOOOOO before Qui-Gon gets killed, and then use Qui-Gon's reaction shot where he gives a strange look at Maul to have him looking at Obi-wan instead - kind of a "WTF are you yelling about" look.

Hmm, I dunno about that... He seems like a clumsy moron, a loveable klutz, but not like GeneralGrin's videos of Captain Picard and his crew; the nonchalant, heartless killers. Having him approve of Qui-Gonn's death? Yikes.

You could have Obi-Wan suddenly gain the voice of Khan when Qui-Gon dies and say "I will avenge you".
