Listen to "no" again. He actually says "no?" It's from when the Jedi Council tells him Anakin will not be trained...and he's incredulous. "No?"

QG: (disbelief) No?
OB: You seem touchy, what's your damage?
QG: What do you know?
OB: Interesting, now you seem defensive.
This is what I was going for, anyway, with the dialogue available to me.
The "thanks, my young friend" makes no sense, but it's not supposed to. It's ridiculous, which is followed up with the catchphrase of the edit:
OB: What?
btw, that "what?" works in two ways - it can also be seen as Obi's reaction to what the droids are doing in the background.
