It's too bad there's no way to have him NOT finish the race.
After all, he's never finished a race before.
I think his ridiculous triumphant arm raise upon finishing (at 2:26) is worth it.

Just found this, the sandcrawler keeping up with the podracers is on the DVD so it could be worked into the film.
For your concideration.

Also, here's some more Watto dialogue to work with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYqiYK10Vv4
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

I've been trying to show the Jedi as completely unaware when their ship is blown up in the beginning. I think this works a bit better than what I had done previously.

I didn't catch that the first time, so I'm sure it works better :p
I wanna see an edit where the we see the 20th century logo, Lucasfilm logo, "long time ago..", the scroll does its thing, the ship flies to the planet all dramatic like, it lands, and then is blown up.
Roll credits.

Funny you should mention that...

This was the first clip I made.
Oh shit that is so funny, the smash cut to credits mid-explosion!
It might work better if Obi-Wan said "Master Yoda has a bad feeling about this". that way neither of them sense anything and Yoda comes across as a bit of a Cassandra.
Ric Olie is in Alien ³, perhaps some of his lines can be put to good use.
Great Bingo! Master Yoda has a bad feeling about this, Jar Jar binks has a bad feeling about it too, you could always put obiwan referring to a third person bad feelings xD

Interesting idea...I'll look at it. I do like the idea of Qui-Gon constantly dismissing Obi, however.
Maybe I can change Obi's line to something like "Obi Wan has another bad feeling."
Yoda doesn't want Anakin trained but both Qui-Gon and later Obi-Wan both push for it so it would be consistent if both of them are pretty rubbish at sensing danger.
How about this for a movie poster??

I prefer the previous idea of all the minor characters taking center stage.
Anyway, here's another attempt at QG not getting that the ship has been destroyed:

Oh yeah! I drew that one didn't I!

That was much better. Thumbs up

I love Quigon's ignorance of the ship, and his interruptions in this last video kills me as much as the original "are you a...?" videos.

Seeing that clip has just made me realise that if you watch the SW movies in numerical order...the 1st two accents you hear in the movies are from 'Norn Iron'

Curious? You mean he's a...
But really, it was difficult to follow, even after playing through it a few times.
Does he call him a coward?
:-(
Yeah, he calls him a coward. What else was difficult to follow?

O: That's impossible, isn't it?
Q: Coward.
O: I don't think so.
Q: No.
O: You seem a little on edge.
Q: Not likely.
O: Curious.
Q: Thanks, my young friend.
It's the dialogue between the two, it just doesn't make sense to me, but maybe I'm just not getting it. I'm fine up until he says "No" in response to "I don't think so".
And then after he says "Not likely" to being on edge, why does Obi Wan say curious? And then Qui Gon thank him for it? How about this:
O: That's impossible, isn't it?
Q: Coward.
O: You seem a little on edge.
Q: Not likely.
But I agree with fishmanlee, the interruption scene was brilliant
