DTS audio discs

I saw some DTS discs in a thrift store of all places recently. The type used in a movie theatre. Would these be readable on a PC? Just curious...

Where were you in '77?

You mean, the actual soundtrack discs that are used in a theater?

That's a good question. I don't know. Maybe you could buy one or two so we can look at them. I'll throw in some money to help.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

There was a method to crack the older type, but so far (AFAIK) no-one has been able to crack the encryption on the newer discs. I don't know much about it but I think it's dependent on a timecode on the film reel.
