Converting .mt2s to iPad, iPhone, etc.

I'm trying to convert Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized 2.0 for viewing on my iDevices. Handbrake is not helping--the result is just something... that doesn't play.

Is converting from the .mt2s stream the best way to go? Should I rip from the DVD-9 I've burned.

Thanks for any help, folks.

Handbrake should be able to deal with m2ts files. Your quality settings are probably too high - try to find the h.264 capabilities of your devices (max ref. frames etc.) and check these settings. Google handbrake + device name and you may find someone has figured out the best settings for your device already.

If the m2ts continues to cause trouble, you can always use mkvmerge to convert to mkv without re-encoding before opening in Handbrake.

Is your .mt2s files from Blu-ray? Do you have original BD? If so, you can rip BD into iPad friendly format directly with a professional tool.
