I feel like this chain of events flows well on paper. So, are the two main things that you would need to add would be the Naboo soldier line about the Gungans surrendering, and a line from Gunray calling in some droidekas?
You could insert the droideka request line play out in the shot where the Nemoidians are looking at the view screen. Something like, “I want droidekas at once!”
Just a trimmed version of an earlier Gunray line.
If it is important for the line about the Gungans surrendering to be heard, you probably should have the line, or a part of it, be spoken during the shot where Anakin’s head pops up out of the cockpit, looking at Padmé and the others regrouping before heading to the throne room. You could remove Panaka’s unnecessary line, “Red group, blue group” and replace it with the Gungan surrender line.
You could also make that shot of Anakin the first shot of the scene, that way that line plays out first, then Padmé can say, “My guess is Gunray’s in the throne room.” Now that they’re aware the Gungans are no longer a distraction, they have to move quickly to capture Gunray.
If you have that like play out over that shot of Anakin, it might have to be a quick one, unless you added an extra insert shot of R2 or something before cutting to Padmé’s group. It could be something quick, like, “The Gungans have lost.”
