^ I like your avatar Wazzles, it’s very funny, because it shows Homer eating 64 slices of American cheese.

Thank! You’re probably the first person who’s actually got it.

LOL. Just looked to that clip. I’m sure I’ve seen that episode as I’ve seen most all of them up to season 13 or so, but I forgot that one.

Homer eating sixty-four slices of American cheese has been branded upon my brain ever since I watched that episode, along with every other item of pop cultural significance which has occurred in the first nine seasons of The Simpsons.

I can no longer call myself a Star Wars fan. I’m sick of the same played-out aesthetics/tropes being remixed/regurgitated time-&-time again; I’m sick of the deteriorating characterization/worldbuilding which have been in play since 1983; I’m sick of the toxic fanboys from all ideological camps; I’m sick of the capitalist pigs who refuse to allow this IP into the public domain where it rightly belongs. So while I may still admire the first two films for their technical achievements and characters, I’m no longer capable of enjoying Star Wars in any capacity due to the reasons delineated above.

There are two Simpsons moments branded upon my brain: “So, you’re going to die,” and, “What did I do to deserve this dry, tasteless Manhattan?!”

Thanks, but I doubt it. There are a lot of other Simpsons fans, that have been here longer than I.

Like The Ramones appearing in that episode, and Burns asking for Smithers to have The Rolling Stones killed!

You’re the first person who’s actually said anything, at least.

I thought it was too obvious for the need to say it.

Also what the hell does this have to do with Ghost Anakin.

Simpsons quotes are always relevant. 😄

Indeed. It’s eerie how the Halloween episode with Bill Clinton and Bob Dole has gained new relevance in the face of the Trump/Clinton debacle, for example.

In regards to the topic, I prefer the older ghost for Anakin mostly due in part of how there seemed to be little effort taken to put Hayden Christensen into the scene.

Young Anakin makes no goddamned sense! Sebastian Shaw force ghost is the only appropriate answer. Everyone else can suck it.

A director makes 100 decisions an hour. Students ask me how you know how to make the right decision, and I say to them, ‘If you don’t know how to make the right decision, you’re not a director.’
