Doing one's own split-screen version once ESB:R is released should be a piece of cake but I personally usually miss like 80% of the changes if it's just a split-screen video, so a still image gallery like this one would be preferable for me to appreciate all the work. But I know from my own experience, that creating a gallery like that isn't exactly easy.

I don't think that a split-screen would be a viable idea for ESB:R. I know that owning a copy of the film being fan-editted is pretty much mandatory for a person looking to own a copy of said fan edit, but I can't help but feel that actually including a copy of the original film with the fan edit, even at a lower resolution, would be a step too far.

I think you are right Amras.

Had a small idea last week about when luke and R2 first set up camp on dagobah before meeting Yoda. There is a snake slithering over a mound. Now I know Ady wants to make more alien type of life on dagobah so It occured to me how about making the snake into a giant earth worm instead. Not sure how easy that would be but I think it would be more creepy crawly than a large snake.

Also been reading the 4th draft script. Some nice ideas in there that never came to pass like rebels being trampled underfoot by AT-AT's hibernating probe droids and the falcon being attacked under cloud city whilst trying to get luke in the hatch to name a few. One can dream about some of those omitted ideas that they were planning I can't help but feel there is a lot more deleted scenes that are in the archives at lucusfilm that have yet to be released... Here is hoping that disney releases this stuff that we have not yet seen.

Did Ady change that lizard (Komodo dragon) in Dagobah that was shown for couple of seconds? This: 

I always thought that lizard was a bit out of place just like the snake Ronster talked about...

 If I recall right, Ady added another eye to it, or something along those lines in one of the clips he released a while back.

Nice work Adywan, Before i saw this image i concocted my own experiment, a rough idea by blending 3 creatures... Rooster, Vulture and another Lizards ete re-coloured.

I can't remember if the original clip the lizard turns its head which would be tricky to composite these elements, possible though, maybe have to skew the elemennts to match the turn of the head? Anyway, just an idea, to make it more alien.

I know that this is beside the point but I felt I should point out that is just a water monitor. You'd never find a trainer willing to wrangle a Komodo Dragon, they're far too dangerous to have on a film set.

One good reason the Komodos in Skyfall were CGI.

Bad enough Mark Hamill got bitten by a non poisonous snake on the Dagobah set without having something really dangerous crawling around loose.

Truth be told, I always thought that lizard was a puppet. The way it moved seemed very rigid -- very artificial -- to me.

Was browsing in the Revisited Facebook page and saw the call for someone in an Imperial uniform.

Brian Troyan looks good for the cameo needed in ESB:R.

As for that Phil Parker fellow, I absolutely would like to see him in ROTJ:R. My hope is not just as a cameo, but as someone with a big part, someone significant. The leading Commander of the entire Imperial Legion on Endor sounds perfect I think. He looks like the real deal in every way, not just a man in costume, so please do remember him for ROTJ:R, Ady :)

If the creature has 3 eyes on one side of its head, wouldn't it have 6 eyes in total?

But Luke calls it an R2 unit... You mean the action figure didn't have its name retconned like Walrus Man, Hammerhead and Snaggletooth?! Kenner's EU for the win! Does this backstory divulge whether he is an R2 unit or an R5 unit? I know 'tis a bit off topic, feel free to start an entire thread about this if necessary ;)
