You’re right. You’re always right.
You’re right. You’re always right.
How long would you have to actually be in the sun for that?
Depends on proximity. Have you seen the documentary Solaris?
That movie is banned in my state.
The Person in Question
I am embarrassed to admit I was thinking of Sunshine (2007) instead of Solaris. Stupid titles.
I am most disappointed that I let possessed down.
You may now resume your silence.
Oh, Sunshine is legal in my state. My state only bans foreign films.

Shhhh 🤫

Wtf?
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
I believe it was one of those humor jokes, like what you see on the Tele.
I am embarrassed to admit I was thinking of Sunshine (2007) instead of Solaris.
Everyone should think of Sunshine instead of Solaris.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
^ Gotta love watching that movie in summer.
“Get over violence, madness and death? What else is there?”
Also known as Mr. Liquid Jungle.
Oh, Sunshine is legal in my state. My state only bans foreign films.
Wtf?
Yeah, it was a joke but there’s some truth to it. A fascist county in my state has actually tried to ban a couple foreign films before, but they were ruled unconstitutional, thankfully.

I am sorry if I am breaking any rules here, but I’d like you to get back on topic, this current conversation belongs in another thread
When’s something gonna happen?

You’re not. It’s your thread, and as the OP, you have the right to ask. 😃
Where were you in '77?
Anyway, what currently lost silent film would you most like to see? Mine would be London After Midnight. There’s a reconstruction of it using stills, but would be nice to see the actual film.

A classic lost film. It is very sad it’s lost. Hopefully maybe some guy will have the footage on some kind of VHS or something. (Okay, that’s unlikely but I wish that’s the case)
When’s something gonna happen?
I’d like to see fury of the demon. A film that causes people to suddenly become violent? Count me in
There’s always a chance a foreign print will turn up somewhere, as what happened with the lost Metropolis footage.

Never heard of that one. I’m intrigued!

Chaplin’s A Woman of the Sea.

There was a documentary about it a few years ago with the same name. Supposedly it was a super disturbing film and was only screened a few times because at all the screenings the audience suddenly became unexplicably violent.

I just did a little research on this documentary. Looks like it may actually be a pseudo-documentary, and this madness-inducing lost film never actually existed.
Sounds like that arcade game Polybius. 😛

Sounds like that arcade game Polybius. 😛
That’s a story that also fascinates me, but it’s definitely also fake. Fury of the Demon is only probably fake.
